J-Mac Radiator J-MAC Complete Car Care J-MAC RADIATOR Yet another Rip Off Salt Lake City, Utah

I recently needed a heater core to be replaced. since I had used them in the distant past, I took it to J-MAC RADIATOR for the service.  They informed me the air filter needed to be replaced. I told them not to replace the filter and thought no more of it at the time.

When I got home, I decided to check the filter because I had just replaced it the week before. When I looked at the filter, on the side you could see, it looked new. But when I took it out to look closer, you could see that someone had taken a torch to the paper part of the filter. The fine steel mesh that holds the paper in, was burned to the point that it was a blue color. (those of you that have used a torch and steel will know of what the color means.) Not only was the steel mesh burned but the paper was completely missing.

Needless to say, I replaced the filter again and kept the old one, just in case... I will never go back to J-MAC RADIATOR and suggest that anyone who is thinking or getting work done on their vehicle to do a complete check of the company they deal with. There are enough reviews on the net that you can separate the good ones from the bad ones. J-MAC RADIATOR is definitely a bad one.
