Instead, was very rude when got to location. Had his crew start moving furniture into other rooms. Next, after moving pieces of furniture into the next room. Told his crew to stop and said that he would have to reschedule after I had taken a day off of work already. I explained to him that this is whyI needed to have some one come before any work begun. He was rude with his approach. Appearing he never had any customer service experience. Part of his justification was that it was common sense that I had move these things myself. I had the appartment painted before and I did not have this problem with any speaking to me this way or needing to move things around. I did completely clear the area (Den) that needed the most and immediate attention. Somehow, this was not satifactory to his liking. He and his crew abruptly stopped without replacing the furniture that they moved out of the area, told me I had to reschedule, and left the security door propped open so that anyone could walk in. I call his office and cell phone to leave a message of being very disappointed and unsatisfied with his non-professional, lack of concern, and rudeness of his tone towards me. I called his cell phone again thinking that we could work something out, but it got even worse. He continued to speak to me in a rude and unprofessional tone, told me he was not going to come ahead of time to look over the area of repair or show me what needed to move and what could stay, after telling me that it was not going to happen (referring to not coming ahead of time), he abruptly hung up the phone as I was explaining to him my point of view.

My earlier rebuttal solely stated the facts. I find it to be a heinous misrepresentation for you to use this platform to accuse me of prejudice towards your sexual orientation. The crux of the problem was your refusal to listen, comprehend and follow simple instructions. I was not aware of your sexual preference, nor do I care. Over the years, we have had, and continure to have numerous valued clients of varying preferences. I also have family members that are gay / l*****n.

 I am not going to continue with this back and forth with you. Nevertheless, one my husband and I were not in our underware. I had short pants that I wear in public and did not have a shirt on. My husband had on bottom pajamas without a shirt on. Excuse us if seeing two men who love and live together bothers you. We were up and waiting for you. We had work done with other painters and contractors due to the same issue. We are going to have someone else do the job who is gay friendly and not rude.!!!!!

* Herman Ortez  live in an apartment complex that we are very familiar with.

* Mr. Ortez wanted a common ceiling repaired and painted - they are all the same size.

* Estimate / instructions on how to prepare was done via telephone.

* Mr. Ortez nor his partner were out of bed at the time and date that the work was to be performed.

* Outside entry door to complex was propped open to unload equipment. (ten feet from apartment door)

* Mr. Ortez and his partner greeted us at his door in thier underwear. The appartment was completly desheveled and     cluttered.

* Peronal items all over apartment / walls not cleared off / no room to walk much less organized to start work.

* After giving instructions again, notified client that we will return at a later date when he was prepared.

* Exited premises / did not request payment.

* Mr. Ortez called office / cell later demanding in a belligerant maner a return trip to instruct him for a 3rd time on how to prepare for painters in his apartment. Via telephone instructed him once more.

* Demanded a return trip for instruction which would amounted to a 4th time

* 700 customers per year, and he's the only one that has complained.
