Wife and I saw Roons ad for chihuahua's for sale. We have a 2yr old fixed chihuahua named princess and she is a doll we love her to pieces. We wanted to get her a playmate. We inquired about one of Mr Roons adult female dogs named penny. He contacted us and he agreed to sell her for only $200 to us.
After reading another ripoff report we canceled but then called a woman who did get a chihuahua from him and she said that everything was ok. Called him back and he said the woman that wrote the rip off report was crazy. We said yes we will take penny for $200. We are sure he will deny ever agreeing to that price but my wife & I did hear him. We got to Mr Roons today and oh my goodness. He was sick and we are sure of why. He brought penny out to us and she was very skidish. He put her in my arms and she peed all over me and tried to bite me. My wife took her and penny did bite her in the hand and almost broke skin. Mr Roon has probably 25-30 chihuahuas running all over. 7 or 8 of them he claims to be taking care of for friends. We would not let him care for any pet but thats our opinion. We went into his home and just could not take the smell and unsanitary conditions. It was very very difficult to even breath in there. The Public Health department seriously needs to address this situation ASAP and I will be contacting them.
We witnessed Mr Roon kicking 2 of his chihuahuas that were fighting. He claims he has show quality dogs? They were all very dirty and don't really look like the pictures he has posted on his site. We love our chihuahua and feel the conditions that Mr Roon has his dogs in is a neglectful enviroment and he is running a puppymill in our opinion. We are sure he will come back with that we are crazy also or try to discredit us in some way. We really love our pet and we are sorry to do this Mr Roon but we feel we need to protect the lovable chihuahua breed.

He was found not guilty and his dogs were returned to him. I and a few of my friends have purchased dogs from him and didn't have any problems. I have seen his dogs and all were in good health. He never lets anyone in his house so I don't know how any one would claim that they were. Too many diseases (parvo) can be carried in on your shoes, I don't allow anyone in my house. Of course Penny would be skiddish and bite, she was scared. It's a shame so many people are so qucik to point the finger and assume because they don't get what they want.

I just recieved a phone call from a reported in Paw Paw Michigan. Mr. Roon was arrested today.
God only knows how many little chihuahuas have suffered at his hands in the last 5 years.
