Jackie Osborn 661 Washington Blvd Beware of landlord /owner of property Marina Del Rey California

We used HomeAway.com to rent a vacation home in Venica, CA.  The owner of the property is Jackie Osborn.  Payment was all upfront including a $500 security deposit.  We stayed there Jun 4 for about 6 days. The house itself was nice, probably a 1 million dollar house,  but the furnishings, beds, bedding, towels, supplies were 2nd hand or dollar store quality. We left a day early and the owner is in England. The property mgr picked up the key. The owner then blasted me saying we had broken the garbage disposal, damaged the cheap couch, didn't lock the door properly and left the air conditioning on. She wanted to review her energy bill to see the difference, get an estimate on the couch and disposal. We didn't use the couch or disposal. We only ate breakfast and slept at the house and we are a family of 4. We are not a group of party college kids. Jackie (Owner) offered $250 of the $500 deposit only if we left positive feedback on the property. She wanted me to sign an agreement I would not leave back feedback in order to give back $250. Essentially Blackmail.  I am now not receiving any of my money back since I didn't agree.  Avoid this person.
