I've never written a bad review before, but I feel I want to warn potential customers to what they are getting into if they employ the "services" of this company.

They didn't show up for the first appointment and claimed we had set a date I had known for months I wouldn't even be in the country. My calls got me the answering machine the first couple of times, then I reached somebody who apparently couldn't have been bothered to call me back and he arranged for a team of two to show up 2 hours later.

The "very thorough first time cleaning" of my 2500 sqft house lasted two hours and did not include moving any furniture, cleaning the baseboards, windows, light fixtures or wiping the kids' desks.
Cabinets remained greasy, which I unfortunately found out too late. Trying to reach Jackie via phone only gave me the answering machine again. I told her that I understood that what I was getting was their normal cleaning, since they didn't schedule the thorough one, and asked her what she wanted me to pay. I had it in writing that if they missed an appointment they'd come back and clean for free.

Jackie called later, but claimed she had to call back the next day to discuss matters further. She never did. Nor did she I contradict my statement that what I had gotten was a standard cleaning. I had to leave for my trip the next day and didn't want to keep her dangling, so I sent her a check anyway, based on a normal cleaning and only deducting the amount of a coupon she had sent me which she later stated she would not honor, so I paid back that amount! So, I had paid her in full for a sketchy job.I booked it off as an expensive and bad experience.

7 hours after my return, at 10 in the morning on a Saturday, she called me - not to apologize or to offer to come back and clean again, but instead demanded I paid the full amount of the thorough cleaning we had agreed to. When I refused, she called me dishonest, claimed I was exploiting her and would probably usually have "illegals working for me for 10 hours with no pay"
After much back and forth she came back to remove cobwebs and dust bunnies for an additional 85$.

She confirmed in front of a witness that a normal cleaning would last 1 hour (for 2500 sqft) which means she charges 60$ per person and hour. She also reviewed all the untreated areas in my house in every room but three and still insisted what she was seeing was the result of a thorough cleaning. (I have fotos if you are interested)

Had she come in, looked at all the evidence, apologized and admitted that that indeed was below her usual standards and she would of course not charge me, reimburse me or come back for a free cleaning some other time, I would not be writing this. Instead she confirmed three times that what I got was to be inspected after one of their VERY THOROGH spring cleanings. Cobwebs, stuff sticking to the floor, greasy cabinets, untreated surfaces in every room, dust, cobwebs and dustbunnies included.

A truly UNIQUE service.
I was ripped off.
I paid in full for a service I never got. The first time was superficial, the second time a patch-up. She didn't even honor her own coupon (for first time clients) stating I wasn't even a client because I had never signed a contract. She had never provided one!
I was affronted and called names.
She charges 60 Dollars an hour but calls me an exploiter!

Unprofessional and NOT a good experience! Please, if you are reading this, go and find somebody else. There are hundreds of honest and reliable companies out there. Jackie's I feel is not.
