 Renee Kindt is a devious liar. First of all I am not a "friend" and never have been. It had been 25 to 30 years since I had last spoken to Renee up intil now. We agreed to the $750.00 a month rent and have paid the rent faithfully and on time every month and we have the cancelled checks to prove it. We never had a written lease agreement, it was verbal and we never agreed  to all utilities or security deposit, in fact I told her in person that we would never have moved in had we known about all utilities not included in the rent.

Two months after we moved in, she gave us a 13 page lease agreement to sign, and I asked her if we could sit down and discuss this agreement because there were many crazy conditions on this agreement, besides the utilities that we never agreed upon, it stated that in the event of any natural or unnatural event or disaster damaged caused to the house was was to be paid in full by us. She then  took the lease agreement and modified it to her liking. We said that we could not sign anything that we did not agree upon. She harassed us into trying to get us to sign it. She kept saying sign it and give it to me right away. We never signed it because we did not agree with it. She then started to retaliate against us by shutting off our electricity, stopping trash services, stopping laundry privileges, and turning off the tv. She also harassed us about the trash, I had it in the shed to protect it from the bears and wildlife, because we live next to the national forest. She constantly harassed us to get the trash out of the shed that she said we could use in the beginning and to put it in front of the house. This was her idea of a safe place, out in the open for any animal to get to. I had it contained and far from danger.

When we first moved into the guest house, Renee said that it was clean and it was not. She also said that she would take care of the carpet and she did not. She said it was clean, I could not understand why she thought it was clean, but when I saw how her house was and still is, I then understood what kind of a mentally ill person she is and her idea of "clean". Her house looks like a trash dump, filthy dirty and trash thrown every where.  We had to clean our unit prior to moving in because Renee refused to have it cleaned, she said she was going to get someone to clean it, but she never did. The carpet had rat feces on it and very large urine stains that looked like it came from a large animal. I have the photos to prove this as well. We also had to pay for the new carpet to be put in up front, she reimbursed only half of the bill. How many places do you know of where the tenant pays for new carpet and cleaning and has to organize it before move in?

As far as trespassing that is a lie as well, we were given permission to do our laundry and that is inside the main house. While Renee was on vacation, she left all her animals  to fend for themselves. Renee asked me to go inside the house and make sure the water is off because her cat turns on the water faucet. When I went inside, and this was just 1 day after she had been on vacation, the whole house smelled like feces. I brought in a clean litter box for her cats because the one in the house was disgusting and looked like it had not been cleaned in two weeks. and the cats were trying to go to the bathroom but could not find a clean spot. Her dog is always gettting sick, because she is getting into her trash that she literally throws on the floor in the house.

We have no choice but to pay someone to remove our trash because Renee took that service away from us and never gave us any trash receptacles as well.

She is in clear violation of California tenant laws in regards to turning off electricity, stopping trash services, not cleaning up her dog feces in front of our unit, and retalitory harassment.

Do not rent from Renee Kindt. This has been a nightmare! If you look up my name and Loretta's name, you will find that there is nothing negative about us and that we are upstanding citizens.
