James Anthony Romanauski II ripoff con-artists took us for all we had abused & mistreated Stole everything! Kihei Hawaii

I was conned out of everything I worked all my life for by James A. Romanauski. When I met him I owned a brand new log home on 11 acres and also owned a tanning salon that was paid off. He sweet talked me and I fell for it hook, line and sinker. He talked me into marrying him within a year of meeting him, even though I wanted to wait.

Once we were married, he presented a plan for us to build houses to make money (he was a contractor) by using my assets. He convinced me to sell my log home and my tanning salon. He spent the majority of this money which was over $60,000. He charged up over $48,000 on credit cards that were in my name. He convinced me to take out a $20,000 dollar home equity loan and blew the money on tools, toys and even beer.

When I found out he was also having affairs, I filed for divorce. The judge allowed him to stay in the home while divorce was pending. During that time he let the house payment, home equity loan and property taxes fall behind. I had to sell some land to pay off this debt, another $20,000.

When the divorce was finalized I agreed to a $20,000 dollar settlement just to get him out of my life. He made $1,200 in payments and has paid nothing more in almost a year. My house is in foreclosure and I haven't had groceries in my house in over 9 months. I can't afford to hire a lawyer to pursue this and the judge won't even talk to me without a lawyer. I have even tried to get help from his probation officer in Michigan (he is on probation for growing marijuana). He has a warrant out for his arrest in Michigan for violation of probation. He is also on probation in Hawaii for a drunk driving conviction.

Since then I have found out that I am not the only woman this man has conned. He conned a single mother of two children (one who is handicapped) into co-signing a $30,000 loan on a Harley Davidson motorcycle and has not made payment, she is now responsible for the loan and he has the motorcycle hidden in storage in Montana.

He did a home remodel for a woman and stole her husbands welding equipment and a new table saw.

He did installation jobs for Lowe's and stole a power tool from the store.

He accepted $700 from an elderly woman to pay for materials for work on her house. She never saw him or the money again.

He put an ex-girlfriends home items in storage and took off out of town. She never saw him again nor did she ever get her things back.

He did a remodel job for a man and stole his air powered painting equipment.

He has conned the IRS by not filing income tax returns in eight years.

He did all of these things in the state of Michigan and then took off to Hawaii. He has lived in several states and has probably done this to many people in those states also.
