At this point I will again conclude that the hooks enterprises that I've dealt with are indeed scammers. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and indeed did speak with mr. hooks regarding my refund. when he mentioned it was sent but apparently the address was wrong he and I both knew his time with me was at an end. because of where that address is, if it had my name on it and it got to one suite off, it would have gotten to me anyway. after having let him know that and gave him my address.. again.. (which he'd have had many times over because it's right there in my email) he stopped responding, stopped emailing and basically stopped all contact. I told him I was going to have to repost on ripoff report and apparently he didn't care.. so.. for those of you out there who may have thought this was a good idea.. think again. I wouldn't suggest you do business with him at all. you see the reviews here. you see the experiences.. there are too many for him to refute.. and with me, I actually gave him months to make it right and he didn't.  some here say use him at your own risk. My experience is telling me don't use him at all. not even worth the headaches you'll end up with.

I to HAVE been SCAMMED BY JAMES HOOKS along with 4 other people i have found on the internet who posted complants to different websites . dont be fooled james is a SCAM ARTIST  he has fooled me on numerous occassions also gave me the same lie that he was in the hospital as emailed to me by his so called recpionist erin baxter. his website and telephone numbers frequently . non of his copanies names are actual real corporations filed with the state of california. do your homework. he hides behind his beverly hills address to make it seem as if he is legit.as i might have called him over 50 times with no response , no room to leave messages on his voicemail box because it was always full . every telephone number he has even the new ones he never answers he screens his calls . only open to new victims for him to rip off 2,680 dollars like he did me.he changed his company name more than four times since i payed him back in feb  2009 .he played the race card with me stating he was african american like me so i should trust him.if you read another post on here someone did do thier research on him and founf out he is a convicted felon. I HOPE YOU READ THIS JAMES BECAUSE SOON YOU WILL HAVE YOUR DAY IN COURT THE FBI IS HIP TO YOU ALREADY.his new website is now www.hooksenterprises.com what a joke this guy is.i did my research on you also james one day you will see.his new number is 310 245 7259 for those who have been ripped of like me and want to give him a piece of your mind good luck getting him to answer. to everyone else ripped off file a compliant with the attorney general of california 800-952-5225 . im sure he will respond then but with all of us coming together and filing compliants its hard to ignore they will take him down they said with this power also print out all reports you can find on him on the internet and send those in with your compliant thats what i am doing.soon i will expose him on television.

Sorry, I do not believe the retraction. I too was scammed by Hooks and can relate to calling the answering service multiple times daily. My case dates back to DECEMBER 2008 which is almost a year. He has yet to issue my refund or at the least, forfill his business obligations. I believe he finally called you and promised to do the work. When he FAILS, please write a subsequent retraction.

So, I have just spoken with James on this matter.. and after having spoken with him I have agreed to write this update.

The real issue here was a matter of communication and frustration. James has a medical condition that is causing more unavailability than usual. The nature of the business we are doing puts the onus on different parties. He has taken responsibility for our communication breakdown and I'll take responsibility for writing this report out of frustration.

 We are moving forward with the business venture with renewed vigor and I am looking forward to a positive resolve.
