James Shelvy AKA SRC AKA Specialty Real Estate Concepts ripoff, con artist, liar, scam, unlawful, vagrant, sex offender, consumer rip-off fraud,real estate fraud St Louis Missouri

This individual advertised in the paper as SRC, Specialty Real Estate Concepts. James Shelvy was our Real Estate agent. Contract negotiations went fine with our house, but when it came time to close, Jim would go on an unannounced Florida vacation. The next two times it was because he was depressed about his wife divorcing him. He was extremely unprofessional and numerous times propositioned me for money laundering. I tried to fire him as a real estate agent but I was told that since I was bound contracturaly he could have sued me, so my wife and I pressed on. After the closing date was rescheduled again, the agents for the sellers contacted me and said that home sales contigent upon our purchase were on the line and other agents were threatening to sue. I called the title company and finished the deal myself. Jim was apparently remorseful for the mishaps and conceded that he had just opened his business. To make up for it, he offered to not charge us commission and also remit $2000 for our trouble. The exact opposite happened. He charged $3600 in commision, then he charged the title company an additional $2000 payable to my wife and I. I can't find him. His business is closed. The phone company has an outstanding bill of $890.00 (I work for the phone company). His recent ex-girlfriend said she is battling him in court from the molestation of her son and his two kids. She has conceded that he has conned many other individuals out of inflated commisions and has even stolen $12,000 from his customer's bank account. She was not privy to giving out this information since the house they purchased together used this $12,000 for a downpayment and many other furniture purchases.

This man is dangerous. He appears to be suicidal and leads a double life. Our situation is an excellent example that a criminal can very much position himself to ruin lively-hoods on the basis of a certificate, much less real estate.
