We signed a contact with Jamie Allen, the contractor to finish the basement. She hired sub-contractors to finished half of the job. Once we paid her 3 out 5 payments, she disappeared with the money. She never return our calls or messages, and shows no intention to refund the advance payments we gave her to buy the building materials. And we also learned she did not pay sub-contractors she hired. She ripped off thousands of dollars from us and sub-contractors.
