I went to high school with Dirk Roach.  We even lived together for a small stint as roommates.  He ended up owing me some cash from that.  I had to sue him in small claims and won.  He never paid.  Much later in life I caught up with him on Myspace.  I had forgiven and forgotten the past and he offered to paint a couple of paintings for me at a good price to kinda make up for it.  I sent him the money and he sent the paintings so all was good.  He disappeared for a little while only to resurface as Jamie Roxx.  Later I found out the reason why.  He had ruined the his real name, Dirk Roach, too much by scamming investors and innocent customers.  I asked if he could paint a series of paintings beginning with two.  I sent him the money for them and waited.  A month went by and no paintings.  I even talked to him on the phone a few times and he said he was working on them.  Then he said they were done and he was sending them.  I waited again and no paintings.  I called and he gave me excuses about this and that and he was sorry and was sending them out for sure.  This stinging on ploy went on for a short while until he called to tell me they needed to be picked up.  I went to the place he said to get them and they had no shipment.  I then could not get in touch with Dirk/Jamie.  I paid by Paypal so I put in a case against the transaction.  Paypal found in my favor but said that they could not collect the money at this time.  I have never seen my cash or paintings.  I just recently found there was a site on Facebook for him.  He seems to be hitting up other old school buddies to scam too.  I got in touch with the "person" running his FB fan site.  She/He has stated that Jamie will call every day.  No call of course.  His scam begins with a fan site.  He poses as a "partner" or girl wanting to promote Jamie Roxx.  He makes himself look to be reputable and popular to gain people's faith with the hope they send money for paintings he will never do or send.  Check the internet a little including this site to find many other people he has ripped off.  DO NOT SEND HIM OR HIS ALIAS's MONEY.  You will most assuredly lose it.  He has scammed a lot of really nice and honest people who trusted him.  I was dumb enough to let him do it to me twice.  Luckily it hasn't been as much as some.  One guy lost 6k.  If he can scam old friends as well as new think what he will do to a complete stranger.  He has no heart or soul.  It's a shame because I think he is talented even though he is both an artist rip of (Warhol anybody?) and a scam rip off.  Don't trust him.  Don't believe him.  Don't deal with this man/thing.
