On March 2, 2015 I received a letter from Java Enterprises Inc, offering several work at home pkgs. I purchased the 199.00 one because I knew I could handle that much work, and you can't move up to more (they said) unless you start out at a higher $ amount. Also, I was offered 15.00 payout instead of 10.00 if I filed by the end of that day. (That 15.00 was never mentioned again)

I signed up because and only because I could use Visa. But the next day I received a letter (e-mail) telling me to sign that I would not try to get a refund thru Visa. I ignored, and chalked it up as a scam.

The next day I got another email saying they had shipped on Mar 4th!!!! BTW the email I was supposed to sign was not even in a pdf format or even "fill in the blank" I was angry and emailed them, and I got a nasty letter right back. Telling me if I ever say anything again about scamming, I would be banned from the program. So, I was hoping it was an OK deal.

Got my first package of 100 stuffable letters did the work, went to Office supply and ordered 200 more sheets, and envelopes, and then to the post office and bought 300 stamps. On this date I sent my original letters all stuffed and ordered a list of 200 names with a personal check. Well 2 fridays came and went with no payments, telling me (the public is wary of these things, and rightly so).

They didn't send the names for 2 weeks. Also they said they would reimburse postage on your 9th paycheck and made it sound very much like their program was high in demand. They went so far as to say their mailing label names were of people wanting to do just this type of work from home. They also said paid highest in the industry, no complaints (at least on the Mason Grace site I found today)

I wonder if Mason Grace enterprises got found out and they started up this one anew?

Anyways the day my labels came I told them I was no longer interested in throwing away my money, and how could I ship them the supplies I had already bought. I was met another angry e-mail which said " If you try to get a payback it will cost you around $4000 and we will get attorneys. I was not entitled to a refund.

I did in fact not try it for 60 days, because every 100 mailings cost me about $50.00. If someone was going to respond to this type add they'd go online like I did, and get the higher offer of the day.

I am fairly smart, own my own business and read and re-read all their flyers multple times. The website tell you to go to terms and conditions, at the main website, but it just takes you in a loop. I don't want to see someone else getting hurt like me. I'm out 459.00 +. At least I can keep the 200 stamps I have left

I'd like to contact Visa, but they have me scared. I can't afford to go to New York for claims court.

The part about not going thru Visa for a refund, you had to go thru Java...is that even legal?

They totally misled me. Even at only 8% I could make a profit, unless they were also lying about the postage, but I didn't even get 1 percent. They need some coal in their envelopes (stockings)

Operations Halted

AUTHOR: Giselle - (United Kingdom)

POSTED: Thursday, May 05, 2016

November 2015, the Federal Trade COmmission (FTC) announced they had halted operations for Mason Grace, AKA Java Enterprises, etc.  This after they scammed 50,000 consumers out of over 7 million dollars.

Please, do not fall envelope stuffing / booklet stapling / brochure mailing scams again.  You CANNOT earn money doing any of these things.  There are machines that are cheap that do all this, human hands are not involved in this process whatsoever.

You were threatened and your thoughts about that were "you hoped it was an OK deal".  Are you kidding me??!!!!!   Please go to yahoo or google and type in the words Mason Grace and start reading! Also, type in Mason Grace BBB and take a look at their F rating and all the complaints lodged. You need to lodge your own complaint and report this company to any and every consumer reporting agency you can find: the BBB, the Attorney General's office, your local broadcast news station, the IRS, etc.

Stop throwing away your money on work at home schemes!!!
