Originally, JBC & Assoc. contacted me by mail, and stated that I had bounced a check to an Orm-Marlin Cross made in Arizona back in 1995, using a Bank of America checking account. I never lived in Arizona in 1995, I resided in Missouri, I had never heard of this company before, and I have never banked with Bank of America. After 3 to 4 letters of increased amounts of payments that I supposedly owe them, they have now changed the original store to a BEST BUY 219, instead of Orm-Marlin Cross, and this store is actually in Oklahoma City, OK. I believe the Arizona Statutes of Limitation is 6 years, and it is almost 9 years past. Through much research, I have found that this company is a major scam and is not a legitimate law firm, with various false addresses and lawyers. There have been numerous complaints and law suits pended against them, and they are trying to illegally extort money and threaten thousands of innocent and naive people from their hard earned money for debts that may have never occurred. I have contacted the Arizona Attorney General, the Federal Trade Commision, the Better Business Bureau, the FBI, the United States Postal Inspector, and the Bar Associations of each state that JBC supposedly claims that they have offices and lawyers. Please inform me if you have had other complaints with this company, JBC & Associates. I would like to see what else I can do, to stop innocent human beings of the extortion, verbal and written torture that they have to receive from this, what I feel, are the biggest Terrorist Group in America.
