Jbc & Associates ripoff, fraud came after us for a supposive debt 11 years old threatening legal action, showed us no proof of biLL Bloomfield New Jersey

Contacted us saying that I had an unpaid bill to ugi ultily from 1993 and must pay or legal action would be taken. Then told me that I must pay over the phone and they would accept $500. When I phoned them back to pay on july 16 they told me that they never told me $500..my wife then stated to them that since they supposively record their conversations to check back to the previous agreed amount..malcom then change his tune and agreed on $500..to be paids only over the phone.

When we asked him why we have never heard of this bill in the past 11 yrs, he had no answer, we asked why it wasn't on the credit report, again no reasonable answer..when asked for contact info of the company we owed he aid he didn't have this info...I then received a letter in the mail (after paying off the supposive debt) on july 20 saying we have ignored their attemtps to collect debt and we owed $811.44!

I have asked several times for a recepit from my payment as well as a bill when we supposively owed this amount and haven't received either..what can I do..I checked around and there are many complaints as well as law suits against jbcM..ANYONE WITH SIMILAR PROBLEMS PLEASE CONTACT 1-877-382-4357 FTC WASHINGTON..
