JC Barn Buyer Beware: Remarkably Terrible Customer Service and Experience Alpharetta Georgia

My friend Wes gave me a laptop some months ago. It always worked perfectly and only ever really had one problem: a loose charging port. The pin that held the charger in was loose and would wiggle all over the place. Finally it got to the point where the poor thing couldn't plug in to charge at all anymore, so I took it into Staples to have them solder the pin back in place. As it turns out of course, there was a part behind the pin that was the real problem, and my only option was to order an external charging port. They said they had found the best price and we processed the order. The shipping was supposed to be 3-5 business days. Sure enough, 8 days rolled around, so I finally went to forage through my email for a tracking number. I found the email and went to the order info page, but what do you know, no tracking info, no ship date, no nothing. I called Staples to tell them the situation, and they tried to contact JC Barn. The manager at staples, who has been nothing but helpful, has sent them two emails and called them three times in the last couple of days, as well as my own calls. And then of course I find out from several other reviews that this place is the worst of the worse. No customer service. Frequent shipping snafus (which appear to always be their fault, they seem to never ship anything out in the first place and only actually ship the item after desperate begging from the customer). So now I'm going to have my bank go after them and get a refund and go somewhere else, even if it costs a bit more. It'll definitely be better than this. I am merely adding another gem to their enormous pile of failing reviews. Avoid this company. Spend your money elsewhere!! Allegra, Longmont CO
