JC Penney Rebate not as promised, customer service impossible Nationwide

Following is the complaint I attempted to email to JC Penney. Their system refused to accept the message, giving no reason why:

"My wife recently purchased a crock pot on sale. It was supposed to come with a $12 rebate.

The Visa card arrived as promised. The card is embossed with "12 dollars". However, it was only good for $10, according to the merchant where we used it (documented with receipts.) At this point, I am prepared to treat this as an honest mistake.

I am not prepared to go to go through a hassle to correct this. I am asking that you credit us the missing $2, and visibly publish on social media information for all recipients who were similarly treated to get credited what they deserve.

Note: If JC Penney actually reads this report and makes the requested corrections, I'll gladly note that in an update.
