JClawson Photography is a major Rip-off, takes pictures then disappears! Cabazon California

We hired Joanessa and her husband James to photograph our Wedding in September. Her intital appointment went great, with her showing us albums of great pictures and beautiful work...later we came to find out that she may not have even took these pictures and is passing them off as her own work.

Our nightmare began when we first tried to set an appointment with them for engagement pictures. We showed up at the designated place on time, but the Clawson's never showed up and didn't have the decency to call us. We had to call them and we got the excuse that she was in a car accident as was caring for her injured husband. We gave them the benfit of the doubt and decided to reschedule the appointment a week later. Again we were disappointed that morning when we recieved a phone call saying they were not going to make it because they at another engagement and would not make it in time for our appointment. The third and last time we tried to reschedule we were again let down with another excuse that they were stuck in San Diego with another couple and could not make the appointment that we had scheduled.

Finally in September James Clawson comes and taker pictures of our rehearsal, and reasures us that he will be at the wedding to take our pictures. On the day of our wedding James and an untrained assistant came to take photos of the wedding all seems to go well, except for the fact that James seems like a pure amateur and his assistant is even worse. We made the mistake of paying them in full BEFORE we got our pictures, here we are a month later and to this date we haven't recieved a single phone call or e-mail, even though we have tried numerous time to get in touch with the Clawsons. All their contact numbers are disconnected and even their website is down.
