My name is SGT Todd H** U.S. Army, I have no need to conceal my identity because if anyone from JD Byrider looks on this page I want them to remember this name.

I am so sick and tired of calling the service department after having my car towed there on Monday. Drew is a nice guy and he has good customer service skills but he has got to be burnt out telling everyone almost every time they call for service that all the mechanics have been fired and they will service your car ASAP.

I do not believe that the mechanics @ "JD d**krider" are even ASE certified because my 98 Chevy Monte Carlo Z34 had a recall in 2004 for the steering rack and pinion, I found this out on the web when i was trying to figure out why i was having steering problems. I called a few mechanics to verify my findings and then set up an appointment W/ Drew.

They had my car for two days and I ha to get rental car which I paid for out of my wn pocket. when i went to pick it up told me that they coul not duplicate the steering problem that i was having and that they did an alignment on it and it should be fine.I drove off the lot and before i even left the lot had the same problem.

I then took the recall info that i found on progressive.com my insurance company website and they then went ahead and fixed it. "Why do I have to show you written proof of what is wrong with my car, i dont know the first thing about fixing cars and you are supposed to be a mechanic? right!

So now my lower right front ball joint breaks in union city. I get the car towed there on monday and im told it is in the shop around lunch time that day to be repaired. I call back after 4pm and no work has been done yet! As you can imagine Im kinda pi**ed off right now!:( So I wait till tuesday and call about the car "same ** different day" drew tells me it is a six hour job and that they will get to it ASAP! I called a few times throughout the day and no change in status.

So now we are in the third day and I am about irate @ this point but keep my cool and called drew about an hour ago. same s**! but now they just fired three mechanics and its gonna be a while. "Why am i not surprised"! What kind of b** is this, this is the highest degree of unprofessionalism I have ever witnessed and if anyone wants to get together with me and call clark howard let me know! If we all get together we can make some changes @ this dealerhip but alone we can do nothing! HooaaaH!!

Oh and dont forget the fact that they sold me a car that retails for only about $3,500 for $10,000 @ about 20% APR! How U love Dat! JD. Fa**

lemon laws

By law a car lot (new or used) are to tell you any problems with the vehicle. If it has been wrecked, if it has flood damage, if it has ever been totaled or had parts replaced. When you pulled the carfax report did you pay to get it of did you just type in the vin? I pulled a carfax report on my vehicle and it said 12 reports, but those were just title changes. Make sure in the vehicle history report that it says nothing about being wrecked or odometer fraud. If it has had either one of those two things wrong on the history, talk to a lawyer! Since the car lot witheld info, you could possibly get out of the contract

Who r u to say what i can afford?

AUTHOR: Todd - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, September 20, 2006

I understand that my income is sufficient but thats not the point homeslice! I really liked the car and had done no home work on it b4 i bought it. yeah it was stupid but they still need to live up to their warranty! I know that Im responsible for my own actions but that is not the point, "what if I was broke"? would they fix my car any faster? No! So your rebuttal has become extremely irrelevant. I'm not that concerned about the cost, I am concerned about the quality of the car and the lack of integrity I see in the dealership. Thanks for nothin! Next time you wanna stick you nose in; address the "Main Issue"!

Do You work for JD or are you just on their side!

Freddie, DON'T listen to those empty threats..Take that car back ASAP.

Freddie,

First of all, they cannot just garnish your wages. It simply doesn't work like that. They have to sue you first, and get a judgement. But they can only do this after they have sold the vehicle at auction and have established a deficiency amount. Then, IF they win in court, they can ATTEMPT to garnish your wages.

In GA, they follow federal law on garnishments. To the best of my knowledge, I remember that as being a max of 25% of your disposable income.

Did they sell you that mandatory warranty on that car? If they did, you have a case of non-performance against them, which would counter any suit they would file on you. They could end up paying you.

Todd,

The lower ball joint is about a 1 hour job for a shop. You could do it on post at the auto shop yourself in less than 2 hours. There is nothing to it at all. A monkey can do it.

I am confused as to why a SGT in the Army would be shopping at JD BYRIDER. Your income is sufficient and your time in service is at least 3 years, probably 5. People make their own choices and must live with them. No one forced you to buy a $3500 car for $10k at 20%!

JD Byrider plays that same game with every customer. The "mechanics" quit on a daily basis because of the crap they have to put up with for no money.

IT'S ON NOW BABY!!!!!!!

AUTHOR: Todd - (U.S.A.)

What we need to do @ this point is call the customer service department whose number is listed on the JDbyrider website and wait for the seven days the dealership has to notify us of what they are going to do to resolve the problem! After that, If we are not satisfied with the way our reports are handled we need to call an attorney, I have a great one in mind! After that we will hit them whwere it hurts. In their pockets. I will put together some signs if I have to and I will stand in front of the dealership with a sign that says JD Byrider Is not trustworthy do not give them your business regardless of your situation. ref: ripoffreport.com!

I think that will put enough of a dent in their pockets that they will have to do something about it. This is perfectly legal, and the whole time we are doing this @8AM we will have other upset customers coming in to get their cars serviced and our number me and you! 2! will then double triple and quadruple before 10:00AM. My uncle is an attorney in NY. Trust me this will work!

Then once we have enough people we will call Clark Howard and end this sh**! Or we could call him now and let him know what we intend to do! Let me know if you are down with this!

I'm With You!!

AUTHOR: Freddie - (U.S.A.)

I'm currently in a situation. I jst purchased this vehicle 2 months ago-07/14/06 and I've had to have the transmission replace (2 weeks after purchase date-07/28/06), about a month later-08/30/06, it started smoking. Apparently, oil was leaking on the engine. I called to schedule an appt and even after telling them what was wrong, I wasn't scheduled for service for another week and half. I had to keep driving because it was the only means of transporation I had but the car could have caught on fire at any moment. Along with that problem, the A/C went out and the axles were damaged. As of 09/17/06, the car will no longer start.I pulled a carfax report and there are 32 reports on this vehicle. It's a 2002 Ford Taurus. This is the last straw.

I informed the general manager that I wanted this vehicle replaced and the payments made, applied to the new car or I will bring it back. He told me that he couldn't and if I brought the car back they would garnish my work salary. I'm pissed. I won't back down. What do we need to do bruh because I'm over it. By the way, I bought this vehicle from the same place you did.
