I was contacted via email on 02/02/2017 by a Jeff Morgan attorney at law stating that I owed a pay day loan and a warrant for my arrest would be issued. As previous people before me the email also stated that the charges being filed against me were Violation of Federal Banking Regulation, Breach of Contract with loan company and theft by deception. It goes on to say that I owed the creditior $950 and if I went to court and was found guilty I would owe $8467.23 excluding bail charges.
When I contacted the number listed on the email (956) 255-8974 there was a gentleman on the phone with a strong Indian accent. When I asked his name again and he said Jeff Morgan, he hung up on me. When I attempted to call back, the call went straigt to a generic voicemail.
Something really needs to be done about these scamers trying to solicit money from innocent people. Do your research first. I'm glad I did, only to find out this Jeff Morgan with an Indian accent has been doing this to other people as well.
