MENTORING OF AMERICA EMPLOYEE ARRESTED AND JAILED FOR INSURANCE FRAUD LAST YEAR.

These are some of the types of people working at Mentoring of America LLC in Utah hiding behind their telephones, and cheating people all across the U.S out of thousands of dollars with these coaching programs.

BRIAN BUTAS:

BRIAN BUTAS is a guy was worked for Mentoring of America in late 2005, then was jailed and arrested for insurance fraud last year by the local St.George Utah sheriff's office. While working at Mentoring of America, this guy went and applied for a $250K life insurance policy, then faked his own death and disappearance to try to collect it after he became involved in financial problems. BRIAN BUTAS told people he was going to go on a lone hiking trip in a local hiking trail near St. George, Utah. That was false. He secretly purchased a one-way ticket to Queensland, Australia where he instead secretly fled to and hid there from the authorities.

Meanwhile back home, local St.George, Utah sheriff authorities launched an extensive search effort near that hiking trail looking for this missing MENTORING OF AMERICA employee named BRIAN BUTAS. After over a week of searching, local Utah sheriff's authorities tracked him down and found BRIAN BUTAS hiding out in Queensland, Australia. Utah Sheriff's flew all the way over to Australia to arrest him, and brought him back to Utah. He was jailed for insurance fraud.

This Mentoring of America employee caused the local sheriff's office to waste approximately $20,000.00 of taxpayer dollars in a search effort to look for him. All for nothing.

In a twist of irony, in one of the below news report videos, you will see his friend and co-worker at Mentoring of America TYLER TRUMAN speak. It's the guy with blond hair. Both worked together at Mentoring of America. TYLER TRUMAN still does in fact. This exact same guy has been reported here on this website for having cheated several people out of tens of thousands of dollars while working at Mentoring of America. And this during the same time frame he's here doing a news interview too.

Although I have not found any rip-off reports on BRIAN BUTAS or anywhere else, his fraudulent activities above and financial problems while he worked for MENTORING OF AMERICA would indicate that he would probably not have any problems cheating you out of thousands of dollars over the phone.

He is well aware of MENTORING OF AMERICA'S fraud business practices as well as all the complaints that pour into his desk about them. He helped me get back my $7,000 plus I lost to MENTORING OF AMERICA after I was given a fake money back guarantee and other false promises and statements by one of their lowly, unscrupulous employees.

As a concerned Citizen who has not actually been ripped off by them myself. I have placed some calls into the company letting them know that stealing peoples money is wrong. I was immediately transfered to a Detective who is investigating recent threats made into the Mentoring of America Office. The detectives name is Gary Jordanson and claims he would shut the company down because no one would get away with it in his town. His name is Gary Jordanson 435-862-9849. I urged him to review complaints on this sight and he claims he was not aware of this sight. Please let him know what these crooks have done to you. Who knows they may be paying off the local sheriffs - but I think its worth a try!!! Its such a shame our law enforcement agencies go after the kids stealing candy etc... They are in jail the next day.

I need to start out by saying that I never worked for Mentoring of America. But I did work for a similar sales floor that sold John Beck products. AS A FORMER EMPLOYEE OF A COMPANY SILIMAR TO THIS, please let me say of what a rip off these places are.

I happen to know many people working at Mentoring of America and John Beck. THEY ARE ALL YOUNG PUNKS EARNING LOTS OF MONEY OFF OF THIS. I'm not kidding, I worked at 3 different sales floors in Utah selling this stuff, I didn't sell it, I was a secretary/office manager there and I'm so embarrassed that I did it. These guys are making 1K + a week. Most of them do drugs and are looking for a good way to support their habit.

They all say they are looking for a success story in your area, it's just a sales line. No one really makes as much money as they are saying. They mark this stuff up so much and you can get in yourself for dollars. Hosting a website cost like $20/ a month. And doesn't cost 1K to build, nor does all that stuff, the coaches read from a script and get paid $7 / hr.
As someone who knows about this I can't stand that they are still ripping people off. You either need to do:

1. A Charge back on your visa. The more charge backs a company gets, their merchant account will freeze, not necessarily resulting in your money back, but big trouble for the company.

2. As someone else has been stating (I'm sorry I forgot your name) Yes, call Ao Pauga, with the UTAH consumer Agency. I have spoken to him several times in order to "try to save sales" at the old company I used to work at. When we received letters from him, we did worry and he can get the company in trouble.

Now,

If you have not already done so, filing a consumer complaint with the Utah Division of Consumer Protection is what you need to do to get a full refund. It has gotten several people on this site full refunds, all within just the last few weeks. Myself included.

This is the complaint form to fill out that REALLY gets Mentoring of America to comply to refund requests that have been denied. Because they are under more lawsuits right now, and have been under legal action from the Utah Division of Consumer Protection for years now, the are under a lot of heat. Mentoring of America has issued full refunds to everyone that I have seen on this site so far, that has filed this complaint against them.

Use the summary box of this complaint form and be sure to mention the fact that one of their employees, Jeremy Cheney gave you a fake money back guarantee. They did the exact same thing to me. Then refused to give me a refund when I asked for one after the sale.

Staple a copy of your bank or credit card statements to your complaint form, with the charges of $9,499.00 highlighted.

Also with your complaint form, include a copy of any enrollment of confirmation pages they should have sent you in the mail to sign and return, if you have any.

Mention their people by name, like Jeremy Cheney if you can remember them.

You can get a refund no matter how long ago it was. Any verbal agreements or verbal contracts done over the phone are not considered valid in Utah and don't count. Mentoring of America knows this, but they tell people who call demanding a refund, that they have you recorded on tape agreeing to a no-refund policy in an attempt to deter you from pursuing a refund.
