Jeffrey J Kovaleski dba Community Reinvestment Properties, LLC, claims to remodel homes for resale. He works in partnership with Hart Home Improvement & Landscape, LLC (Robert Williamson); and Jason Daniels, Realtor-Broker (RE/MAX Advantage Realty, Inc.).  They do the basic 'home flipping' thing without concern as to the structural integrity, electrical wiring, plumbing, heating, safety or health, etc.  I purposely had a home inspection completed before purchasing the house I bought from Mr. Kovaleski through Mr. Daniels.  That was when the structural, ventilation, electrical wiring, furnace, gas fireplace, gutters, flashing, etc., etc., were discovered to be inferior and not up to code.  Via the appropriate real estate OBJECTIONS form, my realtor and I made it known that the health and safety deficifiencies noted on the inspection report needed to be repaired and/or corrected by closing date or the purchase would be terminated. I received a SIGNED "Objection Resolution" from Mr. Kovaleski stating he would have the noted items rectified by the date of closing.  On the date of closing, my realtor and I were assured by both Mr. Kovaleski and Mr. Daniels that the matters in questions had been corrected.   After three months of living in the house and having to pay a plumber to repair pipes and leaks which should have already been repaired, having to have all the interior doors rehung, discovering that neither the furnace nor the gas fire place had been cleaned or up-dated, and noting that the wall between the garage and a bedroom was starting to fall in, I contacted the original home inspector to perform a follow-up inspection.  During the follow-up inspection, it was noted that the electrical had not been corrected, the furnace and fireplace had not been touched, the gutters were still malfunctioning, structural defiencies had not been corrected, etc., etc.   I contacted my realtor via email.  He forwarded my email to Jason Daniels who forwarded it on to Jeffrey Kovaleski (whose contact information I did not have).  I gave Kovaleski 30 calendar days to correct the situation and followed the email up with a certified letter containing a copy of the email once I discovered his address.  I was ignored.  The day AFTER the deadline I received an email from Kovaleski informing me it was MY PROBLEM.  He stated he had paid his contractor to make the repairs so it was up to ME to contact the contractor (no contact information given) and deal with him.  I advised Kovaleski I was not the one who hired the incompetent contract (whose business is next door to Community Reinvestment Properties) and I was not the one who signed the "Objections Resolution".  NOTE:  There is a survivability clause stating that if the items on the Objections Resolutions are not completed as they should be after Closing, the Objections Resolution survives until the items are appropriately completed.  I tried contacting the Regional RE/MAX office in Denver, Colorado.  I contacted the RE/MAX Advantage Realty, Inc., "honcho" who said he could not understand my problems - even after I forwarded all the information to him via email - and then he attempted to SLANDER the home inspector and advised me if I have a complaint I should find a lawyer.  (Believe me ... there are LOTS of real estate lawyers in this town and I now know why!!)  I have filed a complaint with the Colorado Attorney General's Office as well as with the State Real Estate Commission.  This would have been such a simple solution all the way around if these people weren't such CROOKS.  It might have taken them 2-3 days to do the right thing.  Instead, they would rather trample on the naive, unsuspecting consumers.  This is supposed to be my retirement home.  My "forever" home.  I hope it stands that long!!
