I purchased this dog from puppyfind ($1800.00) on the advice of breeders Shelby Mcafee/Sweet& Sassy Shih Tzu and Danielle Samuelson/Empress Shih Tzu(bred this particular puppy) on 10/21/05. I did not know of Mrs Ehnstrom, had only been on her website in the past, so I took the advice of the two people above. They are all good friends.

First of all Mrs Ehnstrom falsly advertised this dog, she showed pics of her in full coat, but when I received her she was shaved down, which she was disguised in showing what a sack of bones she really is.

Secondly I have dealt with a dog that had a liver shunt so when I saw this one, I knew what I was dealing with. So I tried nicely to tell Mrs Ehnstrom that I thought the dog was not breedable as she was to frail and did not have enough muscle mass. But she chose which e-mails to respond to and most times I never heard from her until I pushed the issue.

Then she became very defensive. I received the dog on Friday and on Monday took her to my vet. She told me the dog was not breeding quality and I should contact the breeder.

First of all her teeth are bad and her bite is not good. Secondly she has symptoms of (and bloodwork was perfomed)a liver shunt so I contacted Mrs Ehnstrom and had my vet fax all info to her vet and told her if she wanted me to spend another $85.00 to make a definate diagnosis that I would, but my vet is 99.9% that it is a shunt. Just by what the bloodwork showed and her symptoms and body stature.

She then e-mailed me to say that her vet disagreed with the findings and told me that she will do nothing unless I want to return the dog to her first and she would sell her and then refund my money. After many emails from other breeders (without me even mentioning names) that know what is going on with me and know her past, have told me of her and her group of friends scamming many people in the past (and still doing so) so to return the dog first is not an option I plan on accepting.

She has deceived me from the very beginning telling me the AKC papers would be coming and one week later I still have no papers, and as soon as she sold the dog, she took her website down. This woman along with the two mentioned above already have a bad name for selling poor quality dogs (i.e. liver shunts, inguinal hernias open fonts) for high prices to people that are new and innocent in the breeding world.

Don't be scammed by them, when you get your dog. It more than likely will not be the quality you pay for. Do your research. There are many good and reputable breeders out there, that are very honest that will not sell anymore to any of these 3.

I plan on taking legal action for myself and in the future buying from reputable breeders that have been in this business for many years.

I boughty my Tom Sawyer from Sweet and Sassy and think the world of Shelby

AUTHOR: Michelle - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 07, 2008

I can testify that I also had a bad transaction w/ a lady .I lost 1,000.00 on the deal only because I asked Shelby and she said the breeders was someone she knows. I will say this when we get ripped off we tend to want to blame others. Of course shelby knew the shih-tzu breeder its her business but she didn't say if anything goes wrong HOLD ME ACCOUNTABLe so too anyone out there who says well this person said they were ok hell shelby talks bad about no body so of course she will say yes i know them. Ok if you are in shelby shoes Would you want to say someone in your world of business your peers in the same line of business YOU would not speak badly only say kind words Shelby looks to make no eniemies and its not fair like blaming a friend for recommending a store too you and you have horrible experience. Not friends fault .. I love my shih-tzu from huck and farrah and he is my heart thank you Shelby for my Shih-Tzu He is more than perfect

DON'T BELIEVE IT

AUTHOR: Elonda - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 26, 2006

Jenna supposedly has a picture of the puppy mentioned above (Monet) on her website www.majesticacresshihtzu.com. Don't believe that picture is the dog that was sold to me. That dog would be around 1 year old now, look at the quality of that picture (hmmmmn). I can show anyone pics of that dog and the one she has on her site is not the same dog. I have asked for proof that dog was not defective and it is still yet to be sent to me.

Poor Puppy!

AUTHOR: Charity - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 13, 2006

Wow! This poor puppy! Isn't it good business to fully refund any person who isn't completely happy with a "product"? This woman had the puppy less than a month(?) and had to PAY to return it! How pathetic. I wouldn't buy a puppy from this lady if she was the only breeder in the country! Not with this much bad publicity! You cannot argue with a customer on the internet and keep your reputation good. It's just a sign of your character...or lack there of.

NO GUARANTEE

AUTHOR: Elonda - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 03, 2006

Jenna, if you are so innocent, why did you not send me a written guarantee for Monet, to me that shows you knew Monet was not healthy when you sent her to me. This was just a fast deal and a way for you to make a quick $1800 for your trip to Las Vegas in Oct 2005. A mistake on my part for rushing in to the deal and trusting what you and your friends say. How many people have you all scammed in the past. I have a list and I would be more than happy to share it.

JENNA YOU ARE A LIAR

AUTHOR: Elonda - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, April 30, 2006

You are such a Liar, if Monet has a clean bill of health , prove it, send it to me the one that should know and Let me show it to MY vet the one that examined Monet and found her levels to be off, 14 days after she got here. You won't furnish that proof, because you are a LIAR. And stupid enough to keep that sick dog on your site. If you want to keep this up we will. Provide me with the proof and it will end. I don't care how many good dogs you have sold, nor do I care how many of your "groupie" friends write in here and defend you, if you can't provide me the proof then you are lieing. I had a sick dog, per my vet and that is all I care about. You are just pissed because puppyfind would not take the negative review that I posted on you off of the site, so now you are trying to get revenge. Why don't you just be a decent person and responsible breeder and you won't have problems, but until you do we will keep this going. I still have $400 invested in this lousy deal in airline fees.

AUTHOR: Ami - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, April 28, 2006

My husband and I purchased a puppy from Jenna in May of 2005. Katie is now a little over one year old and is perfect! She is in perfect health and is such an intelligent and loving dog. She was very well socialized when we got her - she fit in wonderfully with our older dog and cat. I would not hesitate to buy another puppy from

THIS SO CALLED HONEST BREEDER

AUTHOR: Elonda - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, December 17, 2005

I just today received a response from American Express noting that Jenna Ehnstrom had told them she had no record of receiving the dog, I am forwarding that to American Express myself. These breeders are not as innocent and honest as they claim to be, at this time Mrs Ehnstrom has the dog and her money, so now who is the scammer.

My Apologies to Danielle Samuelson

AUTHOR: Elonda - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, December 07, 2005

I would Like to say that I have thrown Danielle into this deal just based on her friendship with the other ladys mentioned, she did not push this sale in any way. She did try to tell me she had nothing to do with it and wanted to stay out of it, I let my frustrations override my heart and made a mistake. I would like to publicly apologize to Danielle for that.

Honest Breeder Being Taken Advantage Of

AUTHOR: Jenna - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, October 28, 2005

My name is Jenna Ehnstrom, my family and I have a few Shih Tzu that are part of our family. This is our passion, not our income. I do not make a habit of selling puppies for breeding purposes. This is the first so called breeder I have ever placed a puppy with. I have never produced a sick puppy and all of our offspring are very happy and healthy in their loving forever homes.

I have offered to take this puppy back from Mrs. Womack with a full refund. We certainly do not want someone to have a puppy of ours unless they truly want one. I have tried to be in contact with Mrs. Womack's vet, but her vet offered no comment. My vet has seen the lab results and stated that the reports were inconclusive. The blood levels looked as though the puppy was under stress, which is understandable since she was just placed in a new environment. My vet said that more extensive tests are required in order to correctly diagnose a liver shunt. Elonda stated she did not receive the AKC papers with the puppy. The airlines did not allow me to attach them to the crate, therefore they were mailed to her.

Shelby, Danielle and myself are all friends, and we do support each other. We do not have a reputation for producing poor quality, but quite the opposite. We have spent thousands of dollars, and many hours researching to find the best quality dogs available. We are some of the very few breeders that are willing to work with people that are new to breeding. We remember what it was like to try and get answers to questions when we were new. Therefore we always treat people the way we would have liked to have been treated. I am not sure why Mrs. Womack felt the need to involve Shelby and Danielle in this situation, when all they did was offer her a referral to me. As we often do for each other when we do not have puppies available or when people are looking for something specific that we do not have.

Since Mrs. Womack has started posting these accusations I have received numerous e-mails from reputable breeders who have had similar experiences with her. All of these breeders are offering me their total support.

I would like to offer my extensive list of references to anyone who would like to contact them.

I am not sure what Mrs. Womack is trying to accomplish from all of this, but I will not rest until this puppy is safe in our home again.

Jenna Ehnstrom
