Jennifer Convertibles Overpriced Fumbled Delivery With A Binding Contract Twist ripoff Boca Raton Florida

Let me explain the scam: First Jennifer Convertibles (JC) requires that you sign a contrat with your purchase. This contract states that, if for some reason, you cancel your order they will charge a 20% of purchase fee. They tell you that this is to make sure you do not change your mind and cancel the furniture after it has been shipped. In reality this contract excludes thier responibility of professional service and binds you into a nightmare of inepitude.

After JC binds you into contract they botch your order time and time again. Now you are stuck, you have no furniture and a refund becomes quite profitable to JC. The situation is win / win for them and loose / loose for consumer. In the end you are forced to either deal with thier uncaring cooperate office, thier incompetent store managers, and thier delivery personel who will move back your delivery date again and again, or you give JC 20% of your purcahse for nothing.

JC has made it profitable to bungle orders and recieve returns by way of this contract.

My advice is that you not shop at JC unless you have the means and time you pick up your own furniture, and buy it in house on the spot. If you just must buy there, make sure you do not sign this contract.

As for my own story: I am writing this report in an empty living room. I do not recall how long I have waited for my furniture. I would love to ditch JC and begin the wait cycle all over again with another company, but I will then loose 20% of my purchase. So far, JC has not offered me any compensation for their constant mistakes, not even to refund me the over-priced delivery fee. Why should they? They got me under contract and I will have to take their furniture, and thier incompetence, whenever they finally deliver it.
