Jerry Renato tried to rip me off Bluffton, South Carolina

Jerry Renato and his wife Leanne posted a listing on Ebay that I subsequently won and paid for immediately. They then refused to ship the item stating they made a mistake on the listing. It was written to me that since they forgot to put a reserve on the auction they were not responsible for sending me the item. It was my tough luck and nothing was going to done to rectify the situation on their part. They didn't even offer a nominal fee like $20 to make it right. (which i would have gladly accepted) I sent them numerous emails asking them to make it right but all I got was a complete denial that it was even their fault. To make matters even worse, every email had a salutation like "Blessings, In HIS name, in HIS service, and so on. This pretense of being pious while screwing me drove me nuts...so much so that I hired an attorney and sued them for the item. (Wouldn't any God worth his salt want his followers to keep their word? Especially their written word?)

I used my hard earned money to hire an attorney and after much expense won the case. The judge ordered them to uphold the written contract and send me the item. (A side note, Jerry told the attorneys that his wife did it without his knowledge. Sounded like a convenient lie to me but either way...What kind of guy throws his wife under the bus like that?) They sent the item in their own sweet time but decided to get in one more screw job while they could. They sent it COD! Now the listing clearly stated that the shipping was free but they saw one more opportunity to be greedy and shifty. In my opinion these are the worst kind of liars on the planet. The ones who claim to be pious but then balk when it comes time to do the right thing.

I hate it when people thump their Bibles while trying to take advantage of the innocent. I find it morally reprehensible and hope this article makes anyone reading it think twice about using the Renatos in any type of professional capacity. I also hope it provides valuable insite into why type of people these two are if you're thinking of befriending them.
