I understand the mortgage guys concern . He says the lady defamed him incorrectly and even though she recanted -it should be deleted.

however, when we start allowing complaints to be deleted, then the whole site breaks down. The whole point is that companies jerk us around then tidy up their mess and 'make it go away'

well this site is to inform us consumers that the actions were wrong to begin with and making up for the mistake will not make the original complaint go away. This way consumers can come on here and see which companies jerk us around and only make up for it when we make a stink. Thus future consumers can then avoid them in the first place. Thats what makes this site great.

So jerry is going to have to put up with the complaint because she wrote it in good faith -even though it was wrong. The post goes on to show no wrong doing on jerrys part and a full apology -so what is he upset about now?

I am part of the wholesale lending division at american home mortgage - and AE for ABC. I can not tell you how many times people over react to these situations. I am very close to my Loan officers on the East and West coast who regale story after story about borrowers who think they are there to shake them upside down. I have bumped into crooks and I'm happy to say they are few and far between - or ateast - fewer and farther between then most people think when it comes to mortgages.

Buying a house is an emotional experience and I'm sorry to say, our industry can be quite confusing. A lot of poeople walk away from situtations like this convinced they have been ripped off when infact they have not. Somtimes both parties need to sit down and educate each other and othertimes it just gets carried away.

This situation here has been resolved, as it would have regardless of Jennifer's posting. ABC/AHM holds there employees to an incredible level of acocuntability, and unfortunately for Jerry, our retail side has only their name to stand on. When loan officers names get smeared in the mud so does their business platform. Our industry is really cut throat and it's quite hard to fathom and master it when your customers are generally unaware of the full scope of how it all works. We are constantly competing with people who are real criminals, quoting impossible rates, lying about terms and pre pay penatlies. Lots of LOs are mis leading, but few are crooks, and I'm sure that ours are not.

This posting is doing neighter of these individuals justice. Jerry is having his name dragged through the mud, and is suing Jennifer who has realized he wasn't scamming her and both parties want the story to drop. I think you should do just that.

It is common knowledge by the complaint person that she had clearly made a mistake and wants to withdraw her statements filed with this Rip - off report.com It would seem to be a ripp off when one corrects a mistake but the " Ripp Offreport" .com will not. It is only justice to allow the Jerry Tribuzio case to be withdrawn or any case in the interest of justice to be withdrawn and deleted from posting when the reporter has made a mistake, rather frivilous or incorrect news or statements.

In this posting the reporter has clearly tried to correct her statements and mistakes. I personally would think this would be a ripp off when one could not correct a mistake. Justice would be true to allow reports that have been mistaken and reported frivilous and false.

I just want to reiterate to any, all or future customers for Jerry. My initial complaint was poorly written and I used a choice of negative words against Jerry personally in which I now deeply regret. Jerry is NOT a conartist, misleading, deceiving, or a dishonest person nor is the company that he represents. I hope that with my sincere and most public apology, he will accept it and not prolong an already difficult situation.

I did give Jennifer a preapproval letter in writing for a loan product which she did not want any longer and wanted a different product because she was worried she would not be able to refinance the original loan option in the future. So, I went to work to find another option which would work for her and I did get her preapproved for a loan which would work for her and the preapproval can be documented.

I understand she was nervous about buying her first home so when I did not follow up with a phone call to my email thtat I was working on the loan, she decided to file a report with ripoffreport.com within 24 hours after emailing her I was working on loan.

I plan of filing a lawsuit against Jennifer for Defamation of Character because I am not a conartist, misleading, deceiving, dishonest person. These are not facts about me, Jerry Tribuzio, and these comments constitute defamation against my character. I have been a mortgage professional for 15 years and I have never had this happen to me.

Since filing this, I was notified of a lawsuit about defamation of character towards Jerry Tribuzio. I just want it to be clearly known and understood. This was a situation that happened with my husband and me, it doesn't mean or imply that this will happen to you. I was only telling my side of the story, stating the facts, honestly and how they happened. Could they have handled things in a better way? Absolutely. Does this call for a lawsuit to add to a bad situation already. No. Could I have had a better choice of words? Yes, but it still doesn't change what happened and how a simple form of communication would never of allowed this report to be filed in the first place.
