Jerry's Subs & Pizza terrible customer service. ripoff Herdon Virginia

I was in this Jerry's today 7/22/03 and ordered a sub from the area that has the chicken sandwiches. Once I got it back to my office I realized it was beef and immediately called the store to tell them of the mishap.

The store manager acted as if it was my problem and he was going to do nothing about it. He said "that is not my problem we can make you another sandwich but you will have to pay for it" Now I was outraged I went over my order with him and explained to him I really couldn't eat beef and that I would really appreciate it if he remade the sandwich. He once again told me it was to no error of theirs and that he didn't care either way. They were not making me a free sandwich. I went on to tell him I paid my money for a sandwich that was suppose to be chicken and it was not and something should be done about it. He finally said, "You didn't say what you wanted." and I told him, "You didn't ask."

The menu gave me the impression that the sandwich was chicken and either way, good customer service is accepting responsibility for an evidential mistake and tries not to do it again. Mistakes happen all the time in fast food but he refused to admit a mistake was made on his behalf. Now I am stuck with a sandwich that I paid for and can not eat.
