This company does not pay on time and lie to you about how much money you can make. They will bully you around if you are not the tough trucker type and they run your name in the mud if you let them. They run junk equipment and don not care about how much weight you carry and actually encourage you to run illegal. Now the owner, Max Jewell and his wife are getting a divorce and they are not paying on time whatso ever. There are money problems now and dispatch, who are the biggest liars in the world, will tell us to run harder because the divorce is going to make things real tough around the company. Why should I worry about their family problems??!! These people are real jerks!

So I am the REAL Phil that worked at Jewell transport at the time this was posted. I have a good idea who posted it in my name, but they were both gone by that time. I worked here for almost 10 years and couldn't have worked for better people. They were very honest, up front with everything and never had to worry about being paid. They have up to date equipment that is the top of the line. In left 4 years ago because I had the opportunity to be home every night and be closer to home. I took a substantial pay cut to do it, and after almost 10 years it wasn't easy but I did it. I left on good terms and know if I ever need a job I would call them first. If you are looking for a honest family run company to work for this is the place to work.
