On May 17, 2005 I purchased two items from Jewelry Vault: a tanzanite heart pendant for $79.00 (total $85.00 with shipping) and a blue topaz ring for $149.00. I received both items on or about May 19, 2005. After receiving them, I decided to return them and did so via USPS on May 23, 2005. I sent back the original items sent to me with a copy of the original receipt and a letter detailing the reasons for the returns.

I placed a call to Jewelry Vault two weeks later to verify the return and was told then that a credit to my account would be issued shortly. However, I waited 2 weeks and began calling again inquiring about my credit for these two items. So far, I have called a total of 8 times, I have spoken with numerous people at Jewelry Vault regarding my this due credit including Chad, James and Jennifer all of whom assured me when I spoke with them that I would receive the credit with in 5-7 days. Well, I am still waiting and it's been more than 40 days. I want my credit and I want Jewelry Vault to get the punishment they deserve for misleading, lying and stealing from their customers.

Update another frustrating and angry call

AUTHOR: Darlene - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 27, 2005

After yet another frustrating and angry call to Jewelry Vault last night (July 26, 2005) I spoke again with James who this time said that he would process my credit immediately and call me back momentarily with reference numbers for my credit. Not expecting much (seeing as how no one at Jewelry vault up to this point has even come close to being reliable) I didn't think I would hear from him again. But low and behold, he called me back within 1/2 hour and issued me two reference numbers for the credit on the items in dispute. That being said no credit has yet to appear on my statement. In a phone call to my credit card company they stated that they have not yet received a credit. However, be it known that as REQUIRED BY LAW these numbnuts have 30 days from July 26, 2005 to issue my due credit. If they fail to do so legal action WILL result. So I will update you again on any progress. But let this be a lesson--DO NOT BUY FROM JEWELRY VAULT!
