We went to Jim Ellis Chevrolet looking for an SUV. Moses (our sales person) called us two weeks after we had originally gone to the dealer and told us he had an SUV we were going to like. My husband told him ok, lets do the paperwork. I explained to them that on one of my credit reports the mortgage company was showing late payments, but I had a letter that the mortgage company had send me advising me that it was an error on their part, and they would remove it from the credit agencies. Two of the credit agencies had removed it already, I faxed them the letter and they told me that it was not going to be a problem to go ahead and fill out the credit application. I filled out the credit application on Friday around 9:30 a.m. to give them time to find a bank.

My husband went to the dealer on Friday afternoon and spoke to the finance manager Mr. Mike Vass and my husband asked him if there was a problem with our credit application and if we were approved. His words were "everything is fine, you're approved you can come get the truck tomorrow with your wife". We had a 2003 Tahoe, we needed to sell in order to pay the debt off and the little extra money use it as a down payment. We sold our Tahoe on Saturday before going to the dealer. Upon our arrival, we found out that they never had us approve and they were just getting our application out, at the end of the day they wanted to put me a vehicle I did not like, the SUV they had for us was not an option unless we came up with $10,000 down. They told me I could have another SUV if I gave a total of $4,500. We only had $2,000. They even told us that they knew we can come up with $10,000.

The finance manager did not even face us that day, I was devastated, I had no vehicle and I have three kids I need to take to and from school and other activities!!. I feel ripped off, than the sales person confirmed that they knew we were not approved on Friday and they still told us that we were!! They lied!!!. We left the dealer carless, than we called them and asked them for the name of the bank that wanted $10,000 down, they told us they did not know because they had to put it out there!!!!So, why are they asking me for $10,000 without a bank??? I'm so mad and dissappointed, these people let me to believe that I was walking out of there with the SUV we had agreed on when they always knew that was not the case..
