Jim Walter Homes Aka Mid State Homes rip-off Memphis Tennessee

Jim Walter will ripp you off every chance they get. They sold me a house at the age of 20, I knew nothing. At first they could not get a building permit they said it would take 3 months, so I went to the county permit office myself and got it in 3 minutes.

Now its time to start the building, they sent a 92 year old man to deliver the wood he showed up about 10:30pm. He sat in his truck and dropped the supplies out with the tilt bed on the truck braking all the boards on the bottom of the stack.

Now that all the construction is complete they are still causing problems. They will not allow me to have my own insurance company were I can pay my bill monthly they say I have to have there insurance at a outrageous $1200.00 a year for a 1000 sq. foot home.

also, when my husband (co-owner) divorced he signed a quick claim deed over to me - Jim Walter refuses to take his name off the house until it is paid for in full.

I have had with these assholes I'm all for getting together and doing something about.
