Jim Walter Homes ripoff * Builder Beware Tulsa Oklahoma

I only hope that JWH can get lots of bad pubicicity as possible. My wife and I signed our contract with JWH in June 2005. To this date there are still issues with this home, we have not even closed on. They have already turned any repairs over to the warranty department, if there is one. We recently went to the media with our problem. We did get a response from the office in Texas, Jim Williams (?). He said "We will fix all the problems with in 10 working day." That was on March 13, 2006. I can say almost everything was done. We are still waiting on $120, from them for some pull down attic stairs we bought, and were told that was included in the house. There were some may problems before, during and not even after. We have been living with my wife's sister and her family for 3 and 1/2 months. I just want people to be aware that JWH are just a bunch of LIARS! They keep making promises and more promises. We have consulted with an attorney and he pretty much said there was nothing he could do. But there is some light around the bend. We possibly will be moving in to our home this month.
