Jim Walters midstate homes Ruined my life with all lies muscleshoals, Alabama

I purchased a home from jim walters back in 2003, They did all the land surveying theirselves, I came under some finical difficultys and got  foreclosed on, Well I soon learned they built the house on part of someone elses land and this year I got my check garnished by the I.R.S Stating that I owe 20 thousand dollars in taxes for the jim walter home that I have not lived in in years the irs said that jim walters had written the house off as a loss and then turned in papers to the irs stating that I sold the house and I owe the irs 20 thousand dollars. I have never heard of this before and I tried to explain this to the irs but did not get far I make 500 dollars every two weeks and now the irs is taking half of that for something that I dont even know whats going on. Any body out there have any ideas to this.
