Jim Walters Ripoff JIM WALTERS QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE Baton Rouge Louisiana

The first home built by Jim Walters had to be torn down. Their employees(2-3)were not doing their job is what excuse that was given my the Baton Rouge, LA location. I filed a complaint at the corporate location and was told the top manager would call back, I never received a call from him, the only person who called back was their new one month employee. At this time they said our home would be ready in two weeks. It is very hard to believe in them because all they have said has been lies. Katrina and Rita(Hurricane)caused some of the problems, but you would think Jim Walters would be doing everything possible to provide an home for the ones without their home.Another excuse was how much the Baton Rouge, LA location lost on our home. This was not our fault and all of the employees at the Baton Rouge, LA has even confess it was their fault. I believe that Jim Walters is responable for all problems brought amoung their employees. We have not been offered any compensation for all the trouble during building process, which is not over yet. My husband and I sold his family home to purchase land have our dream home built(This is what the salesman at the Baton Rouge, LA called our offer)For almost the last year it has been a nightmare. We have been told lie after lie. So far we are paying extra monies for storage buildings, the cost of travel time from rent home to property, the extra cost of rent. This is all because of Jim Walters poor management and quality of workmanship.
