J.K. Harris & Company J.K. HARRIS & COMPANY TOOK ME FOW ONE WILD RIDE FOR OVER 3 YEARS AND RIPPED ME OFF IN THE PROCESS! Charleston South Carolina

I like many others saw the add on network TV about how J.K.Harris & Company could help me streighten out my tax issues. I called their toll free number, set up an appointment to talk with a person near me in the Toledo area. I went in and met one of their representatives. He was a younger guy and I told him about my tax problem. He told me how much the fee was, and that I could put a down payment down and make payments to them for the ballance.

I went home with my girlfriend and we put the down payment together, called the guy and he said he was going to be going into another suberb and he would do me a favor and stop close to where I live at the McDonalds and pay him the deposit. That was the last I saw or heard of this guy. He took my money, AND I FOUND OUT LATER he didn't report it to the J.K. Harris & Company and left.
I kept recieving letters from the I.R.S.

So I called the phone number on his card only to find out that his cell phone had been disconnected. So I again called the toll free number and that is when I found out I was NOT the only person this guy ripped off. I had several conversations with people there and they assured me that they would still make good on the deal and they gave me credit for what I had payed and work with me to make payments to get this handled.

Well, by the time I had the bill almost paid off, I ended up owing taxes for another year plus the first year. So I contacted J.K. Harris & Company to see if they could do two years offer in compromice instead of one. The guy I spoke to there told me they could, but I would have to pay more. I made payments to get the second year added into the offer.

I had several phone conversations with AT LEAST 6 of their "SO CALLED" case specialists. First of all, by the time I got them paid off, the credit company I was paying had closed my case and put it in storage. The NEW fellow who was supposed to do my offer didn't want to get the case out of the storage area because it's in a different building, (OR SO HE SAID)and I would have to wait a week for hime to get it. I waited a week and called him back and STILL had not recieved my file, and when I asked him what he intended to do his reply was "NOTHING" and then he proceded to give me a HARD TIME like it was MY FAULT the original guy ripped me off and things got screwy until I got things paid, so I had NO RIGHT to be upset, and he would handle everything.

Well, since this guy I have had SEVERAL of their "CASE SPECIALIST" and had signed SEVERAL "POWER OF ATTORNEY" letters and all the information they wanted. EVERY TIME the next case specailist gets things ready to do my case, they either fire them or they quit.

As they went so did the time to get my offer in, but low and behold ANOTHER YEAR HAS PASSED....and again I owed a few thousand....so now I have THREE years to deal with. I called and this time the guy told me I wouldn't have to pay any more, because they have to make the offer on any and all taxes I owed to the State as well as the I.R.S.
It seemes to me that they got extra money for the second year if that is the case. But who am I to wonder why....RIGHT! BULL!!

Well I got my taxes back from my c.p.a. FOR LAST YEAR, and I sent that to J.K. Harris & Company along with NEW COPIES of my bank statements and bills and ANOTHER signed power of attorney letter. Now this is 3 YEARS of paper work I have sent to them. I spoke with a woman who claimed to be the SUPERVISOR and she assured me that the woman who is my "NEW CASE SPECAILIST" ( I think she's either the 5th or 6th one SO FAR) WOULD HAVE MY OFFER PUT TOGETHER IN NO TIME.

Well a few weeks after I sent her last years taxes I called her number to see how things were going....GUESS WHAT!!!! YOU GOT IT...SHE'S NO LONGER THERE...AND THE WORST PART IS NO ONE TOLD ME!!!

In the mean time the I.R.S. put a lean on my house, and the I.R.S. grabbed my money BEFOPE it was deposited in the bank, since I get paid by the state of Ohio as an Independant Contractor as a Home Health Aid taking care of a handicapped woman in my home.

The NEW CASE SPECIALIST got my funds released so I got paidd the fallowing week, and they AGAIN asked me to sign ANOTHER Power of Attorney and they sent me the offer they prepared to submit to the I.R.S. & State......that was a month ago, and still no answer!

As it turns out, I have paid over TWICE the amount originally agreed on, and have goten ROTTEN SERVICE TO THIS DAY!
