JK Harris Try Getting Your Money back No. Charleston South Carolina

I contracted with JK Harris to help me with my tax issues, but they were a waste of time. I have been trying to get a refund back from them since September, but each time I call them, I am told the check is being reviewed and they don't know when the money will be sent out. Additonally, they claimed they are keeping over half of the money I paid out because of the work that had been done with the IRS. When I spoke with IRS, they had no record of contact with JK Harris on my behalf.

The only consistent thing JK Harris did was take monthly payments out of my account. I am at a loss as to why it would take up to four months (quoting their words) to get my money back. The US Justice dept. and the So. Carolina BBB say they cannot provide any assistance.

Isn't it amazing that corporate entities can do whattever they want, while taxpayers are threatened with prosecution and fines. they should be run out of business.
