I have known Jean Marc El Jwaidi for over 10 years. As a small business's owner in the Las Vegas Valley, I have had the pleasure of doing business with Jean Marc on many occasions. I Have always been grateful for his honesty, hard work, and business integrity. I know many small business owners, who Jean Marc helped make it through the tough economical times.

I have also had the pleasure of knowing Jean Marc and his wonderful family.

He is a man of honor and has gone above and beyond for the people of Las Vegas and the business persons he works with!

Reading this article gives no justice to Jean Marc and to the community of Las Vegas to which he has put all his effort and pride to make it a great place to live and he has given MANY among MANY people countless opportunities to pursue there dreams of owning a business and succeeding.

Contrary to what is stated in the original report, Jean Marc El Jwaidi is a respectable, hard working businessman.  He, like many other large companies, fell victim to the recession but is still intending to make good on his promises.  The fact that he intends to make good is better than a lot of larger companies, including those on the strip.  People and companies who invested in many strip projects lost everything in the last few years.  Jean Marc's company spent over 15 million dollars developing the land which is PG Plaza.  People may not see structures, but the 15 million dollars was spent on infrastructure and servicing the underlying mortgage holder on the property.  Those payments to the mortgagor were $200,000.00 per month.  At one point in time, the property, with the infrastructure, was appraised at 28 million dollars.  Jean Marc El Jwaidi had a loan in place for 30 million dollars from a lender in Connecticut.  All of the papers were signed and Mr. El Jwaidi paid a $150,000.00 loan fee.  After many months, it turned out that the lender was a fraud and the lender is currently serving a sentence in a Connecticut penitentiary.  

Once the loan fell through, Jean Marc El Jwaidi found it necessary to approach friends and family for funds to help keep the project going.  Since these difficult times, Jean Marc has remained in Las Vegas attempting to work things out.  The fact that he has stayed and plans on paying everyone back says a lot for this hardworking gentleman.
