Jody Humphrey of Hegemon Group International or HGI, tried to approach me about his financial opportunity and does not even have an insurance license!!! He holds himself out as the MVP, top Executive and son of the Owner of the company and says he is one of the nation's top financial advisor and even says he has clients who are Nashville stars, but he does not have a license!

He tried to recruit me the other day to his Dad's company called HGI so I researched him and found out that he does not have a license according to the GA state insurance department! The records show his license expired in 2005 and he has not been appointed with an insurance company since 2001. (See picture) I also found other article about him saying the same things to other people and even taking money from clients in the form of loans.

How is he still out doing all this when so many people have been victimized? How can he be recruiting, selling and making income from his sales team without a license! This is illegal. All I can say is that is still roaming around out there looking for more people to take advantage of. Be very careful!

Common Practice

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Sunday, August 28, 2016

It is common practice with reputable financial services organizations for all of their executives, and offtimes all their employees, to have proper licensing for all the products they market. This then allows them to train and speak to the public and it's representatives about these products or to properly tell the company story. It is a quite easy task for an executive to get an insurance license and costs less than $200.00 to $400.00 in most states. Since Mr. Humphrey is not licensed but is and executive who speaks often to the public and to the internal representatives in live meetings and in webinars, which include information about insurance and annuity offerings he should, and possibly must in may situations be licensed to do so. Him not having a license throws up some very serious serious red flags regarding him individually and regarding the HGI company.

This should be an easy issue to resolve by him getting a license especially since HGI already has too may red flags surrounding already including but not limited to...

-The indictment and arrest of a former HGI executive Kelly Schnoreberg for ilegal money raising practices for funds recieved by Mr Humphrey and Hegemon Holdings (HGI's holding company) to fund the business operation. Many industry experts believe it is only a matter of time before Mr. Schorenberg turns state's evidence against both Hubert Humphrey and Jody Humphrey in a plea bargin deal to reduce his sentence.

-The many complaints by former HGI field leaders and employees regarding not being paid on time or at all.

-The many judgements and claims against Jody Humphrey in Gwinnett County for bilking investors out of money for his JPH Marketing Company.

-The fact that none of Mr. Humphrey's former field leaders or executives from over the years are part of this latest HGI scheme. Then add that most of his field leaders and executives during his HGI stint are with him less than 6-18 months before the leave him to go to other companies.

-The many negative posts online about unethical business practices of both Hubert Humphrey and Jody Humphrey over the years.

-Etc.

Everyone should do their thorough research and be very weary. There are way too many substantiated issues for it to be coincidence.

Humprey DOES NOT NEED an insurance license

AUTHOR: Robin fights Fraud - (USA)

POSTED: Saturday, August 27, 2016

Jody Humphrey is an executive of Hegemon International. He does not directly sell or get overrides from insurnace products. He is establishing the corporate structure and recruiting future assosicates for the organization as a whole. Many products offered by HGI are NOT insurance products. Some associates chose not to get an insurance license and do not sell insurance products, they chose to sell other non-licensed products. A license is not required to do well with Hegemon Gorup. Jody Humphrey as a comapany executive does not get involved with direct sales of insurance products. Only if you are DIRECTLY selling insurnace products, or spitting a sale, or engaged directly with a sale of an insurance product, do you need a Life and/or health insurance license. I am a former Federal fraud invstigator/analyst. I am enjoying working with Jody and HGI and have found the Humphry family and the organization to be of the utmost integrity and offering the highest quality AAA rated companies and products.

But why doesn't he have one??

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, August 16, 2016

In response to your post saying Mr Humphrey does need a license this would only be true if he is a salaried employee of HGI. To recieve any overrides on insurance from a organization you MUST have a license BY LAW. Even if he is a salaried employee you must have a license to even talk about insurance products even in recruting and training situations. So the question still stands- why does he not have a license? Can he even get one? Is there something in his past that prevents him from being able to get one? is upholding the law not important to him? Makes one wonder especially with the other accusations that are out there regarding him and his father.

As far as other complaints against him, his father and HGI there are many that are verified. It is a scary situation. BEWARE!

Jody Humphrey- doesn't need a license to recruit sales people.

AUTHOR: Robin - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, August 14, 2016

Complaining that Jody Humphrey does not have an insurance license, or license to sell products, is not a legitimate complaint. He is not required in any way to have a license, as he is not directly selling products. He is recruiting and managing the company.

Jody Humphrey is building Hegemon Group International with his father. They are recruiting a sales force to sell non-licensed financial products and Insurance products. Insurance products do require a state license to sell, but ONLY required by the salespeople actually sitting down and selling the products. Mr. Humphrey is an executive of the larger organization and does not sit down with consumers and sell insurance products, therefore he DOES NOT NEED, or nor is he required to have a license.

I have investigated and found that other complaints against Mr. Humphrey that were posted on other sites and picked up by ripoffreport have been retracted directly by the author that originally posted the compliant. The other websites posted the retraction. The rebuttals of compalints and retractions by the authors have not so far been found publically on ripoffreport.com. We hope that changes.
