Joe Schrank claims to be sober but is not, he charges an outrageous $10,000-$15,000 per month to warehouse rich sober living clients. Residents at Core Company's Loft 107, owned by Joe Schrank, are rarely subjected to drug tests and when they are caught using are almost always allowed to stay at the sober living environent.
I have personally seen Joe with illegal drugs and he admitted to me that he gets high "once in a while" even though he owns a sober livng home, tells clients he is sober and instructs clients on how to manage their lives in a sober manner.
Joe Schrank is a very convincing liar and con artist. Do not believe a word that this man says--he will say anything to get your money.
If you are considering the Loft 107 (the current sober living name under Joe Schrank's Core Company NYC) for yourself or a family member I emplore you to find somewhere else. You or your loved one will not be safe as a resident at the Loft 107.
Residents at the Loft 107 are "randomly" drug tested (which turned out to be "rarely" drug tested) and when they are actually caught getting high or drunk they are given a stern talking to and allowed to stay. Why? One word: money. Joe Schrank, the Rebound Program, the Loft 107 Brooklyn, the Core Company NYC all have no regard for the welfare of their clients--if the "rent" is being paid, you can stay (and get high every day) at the Loft 107.
Enabling people is different from helping people.
The Loft 107 Brooklyn also operates under the name Rebound Brooklyn (Rebound is the name of the "intensive outpatient program" at the Loft 107).
Joe also owns a blog to promote his sober living home called The Fix (thefix.com). Avoid anything and everything that this scammer is involved with.

THis place is a joke and the owners clearly have a vested interest in keeping clients hooked on drugs/alcohol so that they continue to pay the exorbitant fees associated with the Loft. Continues relapse is treated with a slap on the wrist as long as you're willing to keep paying for the Loft's services. Please look into the Serenity House or other comparable sober living houses before sending yourself or a loved one to this place.
