John adams highschool I payed 200$ for my highschool diploma and im trying to enroll in collage but they are saying they are not accepting it due too not being accredited. Internet/miami

I have been ripped off by john Adams high school. I'm 25 years old and I just tryed to enroll in flordia Tec collage and they are telling me my diploma isn't credited, I payed 200$ I have family to support and I'm trying to further my education. I got my diploma in 2005 and come to find out its not credited . Please I really need some information to help me Thank you.

You are missing the point. What Florida Tech is saying to you is that you have to have a legitimate high school diploma or a GED. From your post you would not be able to pass the exam for your GED without attending remedial classes. I am strictly looking at the form of your post. You may actually have the knowledge and just chose not to use it when you made the post.
In any event, going on line to try to buy a diploma is not the right thing to do. The fact that you didn't even know that it was wrong shows that you have large holes in your education and critical thinking abilities. It is not too late for you to get started with your education. But don't take shortcuts, you can see what happens when you do.
