John Braska Someone is going to die Gobles Michigan

My sister bought a "child safe" horse from John Braska and friend. She has ridden her whole life and is 54 and wanted a nice easy gentle mount to trail ride as her horse had gotten old.  I went with her and was suspicious of the lump on the horses neck right where you would inject medications. Well they assured us thier vet did that and that he gave the horse his vaccines in the wrong spot and left a knot. Horse was 4 or 5 and unusually calm.My sister rode him quite a while in the paddock. We stayed quite a while. Oh and another clue was that he was all saddled and standing cross tied in the barn when we got there. I was against the purchase but my brother in law was sure he would be a nice safe horse for my sister. Horse walked into the trailer calmly. The first several miles he was fine but before we even got him home he started to flip out in the trailer. Over the next week he reared and bucked when ridden like he was not even the same horse and VERY green broke. I noticed all their adds said child safe, perfect first horse. etc.  My sister called and told them about his behavior. They came out with another looked like a dead beat horse and went for a ride with the 2 together. They cowboyed that poor horse acrossed the fields and made him do a flat out run. We watched him rear and try some things but they assured us this was normal in a new home. I felt bad for the horse they brought and the one they sold my sister at the way they rode them. My brother in law insisted they take him back but of course they didn't have the money. So we delivered the horse a few days later. We basically ganged up on John and his friend and said we knew what they had done and we wanted the money or another horse of OUR choosing. They weren't very happy but we picked a mare out of their field that seemed calm but was very thin. She is a nice horse especially now that she gained weight but she has ringbone. Probably an auction perchase or someone's "Free" horse. I kept watch and told the story on a Michigan horse board and sure enough that poor gelding was back at auction the week we took him back. Dishonest and shameful behavior all to earn a buck and I hope it has caught up with John and his faithful friend. I am not even sure it would bother them if someone died from their dishonesty. Wish someone would take them to court.  BEWARE>
