One you can ignore the paying them, two because you have a contract you signed you are required to pay it of it will remain on you credit report for some 7 or so years be it becomes a lose for them and is then taken off your record as noncollectable.   I would not pay it. It would cost them more more to send you to court to collect, plus even if they do, it would cost them more more to pursue in small claims, which is a waste of your time and theirs because in the long run you still will not pay it. Garnishing a check is expensive for them so they will just write if off as a loss.  You on the other hand remain with this on your record. However, most places do not even do credit checks, as they say they do.  It's another scare tactic companies do so you will not apply.  It used to see how honest people will turn away. Business people who make money would careless, if they had the credit check.  Most have bad credit and they know it.  In the long run they really can not hurt you. Pay if you feel it's the right thing to do, but keep in mind this will remain on your record no matter what. So you will get stuck whether you pay or not with this showing on your credit report.  In this case I would tell them to stick it up theirs. It's a scam they run and money they should not get from you.

SAME HAPPENED TO ME

When I read your report I felt like I wrote it.  People didn't look like models at all;  I paid a 550$ deposit and it Wasn't worth it;  I was the oldest in the class (and I'm 20)  We were learning such basics that a 4 year old would know

However, I got a call from a debt collector who threatens me to go to court because I didn't pay the rest of the 2500$ and now he wants 3000$ because of a delinquency fee.

Can they actually do something to me? (Sorry I'm not from here)
