Run as far and as fast as you can from Short Sale 2 Yourself website is Shortsale2yourself.com located in California

John D. Ames the owner of Shortsale2yourself works with Dwayne Omarr also located in California.

Claims they can overturn an eviction from the bank once you have received an eviction notice and are required to move for the fee of $599 paid upfront (of course.)

Once you have paid then they become difficult to reach ** phone and email.

So, I sent a non-preformance email demanding my money back and low and behold John Ames was then able to return my email.

He called me a liar and in an extremely abusive manner told me that it was all my fault that they could not do what he said he could do because I was no longer living at the property.

Gee I was evicted (go figure)

Then he stated he would refund my money and as you might quess after 2 weeks still hasn't.

John D. Ames of Shortsale2yourself.com and his buddy Dwayne Omarr make all kinds of claims of what they can do to help homeowners but the end result is not only did they not preform they took my money, did not return calls were abusive and pocketed the money.

Run from John D. Ames owner of Short Sale 2 Yourself before you victimized and out more money.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

The Client was less than honest from day one

AUTHOR: jdames - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, August 18, 2012

Before we ever take on a new client for eviction delay,  we ask them if they are still in the property.

This client said no,  but her former boyfriend was in the property.

This is critical,  otherwise we cannot know what responses to what we are doing for  the client are being sent, etc ....

Later on, after we had worked almost 2 months on this property, the client claimed that they told us  there was no one in the property from day one.

We then informed the client they needed to contact the law firm that was handling the  eviction to see where they stood.  The client asked if we could call them, We said no we cannot, the property owner / person being evicted has to contact them
unless they have hired an attorney to represent them.

We had not even charged any fees for the two months work, only an initial start-up fee.

We have since modified our contract to cover this,  we call it the NORA BURCH clause, after the person in Minnesota who filed this complaint.
