John Davis Readers Digest Sweepstakes I received a letter from a john davis today with a beautiful check for $3,098.75.I was told to call 1-450-675-2609 prior to cashing check.I called the number and was informed in french that this was not a working phone number.surprise ,surprise.! this is just another scam! Skokie Illinois

the check i received looks so very real.It is written for Chase,New York,NY for $3,098.75.I am supposed to call John Davis prior to cashing it.the number is a canadian number and operator states in french that it is a cell numbernot a phone #.
