The radio airwaves are busy in Houston this week that "your kid could have a chance to meet Hannah Montana and maybe be on the show". The producer of the show might even be here. This is according to the ad running right now on local FM station 106.9 for auditions going on this week in Houston. I know there are auditions tomorrow on Saturday as well. If you folks that have written on this site are telling the truth, then please contact the Houston Choronicle, FM 106.9 and the State of Texas Film Commission and let them know about this supposed scam. If you truly want to get at these people, you need to go on the internet now, and look up the Houston Chronicle and the other local TV news stations in Houston, get their phone numbers and call to have them investigate. The State of Texas Film Commission is located in Austin Texas and their phone number is listed on the internet as well. I would also do a google search for the local FM station 106.9 that is running these ads and let the station manager know how you feel. If you are serious about this, now is the time to get involved. Maybe something can be exposed this weekend to your satisfaction.

We had a great time at John Robert Powers in Houston

My child heard the radio ad back in 2008. She called all her friends, and three of them ending up going to the audition. From the three that went, my daughter was the only one selected.
I ended up signing my child up for one year. It is not cheap by any means, but where else is she going to be able to audition for LA agents here in Houston?
Her dream is to act, and my dream is to see her happy. At John Robert Powers she was trained with some great instructors, and she was introduced to several industry professionals.
There are two agents that currently wish to represent my child. I am trying to figure out what agent to go with. I am so thankful for the opportunity that John Robert Powers has given my child.
Parents...you must be open minded. Like any career you must invest time and money. John Robert Powers is an academy. What they promise is to teach you and introduce you to industry professionals. They follow through on this promise.
JRP has opened many doors for my daughter. She is excited and looking forward to fullfilling her dreams. Thanks to all the staff at JRP Houston for a great experience!
