John Stumpf - Wells Fargo Executive Officer, John Stumpf - COMPLETE RIPOFF AND SCAMMER

John Stumpf runs a ripoff bank! Along with all other banks! They just got bailed out by the federal government because of their unethical business practices and lost billions, then they turn around and dont lend anyone any money at all, and then they start ripping off their small banking customers a ton of NSF Fees.

Here are the following "convenient" fees that John Stumpf - Wells Fargo Executive Officer wants to be able to provide Wells Fargo and now Wachovio clients as even more convenience, value and service that WE ALL ever had before:

1. NSF RETURN ITEM FEE
2. CONTINUOUS OD LEVEL 2 CHARGES
3. MONTHLY STATEMENT FEE - I WAS TOLD THIS IS FREE
4. OVERDRAFT FEE
5. PHONE BANKER CALL CHARGES

I wonder what new fees they will come up with next! They came up with alot of these stupid fees JUST TO RIP OFF CLIENTS and bail them out.

I am a small business owner, and am struggling to make it through these hard times, but I am doing OK, and able to manage and do better, until WELLS FARGO gets a hold of my account and has free access to steal my money whenever they choose to do so.

In the past, i had transactions or automated bill payments going through my account, and if I did not have the money to cover the transaction, they would return the transaction NO QUESTIONS ASKED and then charge me a $35 NSF fee. No problem, i understand, that is their rules, i will follow them.

Weeks later, i have $280 in my bank account. I had my car payment of $350 going through my account along with 12 other really small transactions of $8 to $10 each. I have the funds to cover all the little debit card transactions and that is why the transactions were approved.

Wells Farge decides to change their rules, and pay the $350 automated transaction when i dont have money to cover that, then pay all the other 12 small transactions, and hit me with 12 NSF fees totaling over $400 in bank NSF fees.

THEY ARE A COMPLETE RIPOFF AND THEY ARE STEALING MONY FROM THE SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS TRYING TO MAKE ENDS MEET.

IF THEY WOULD HAVE REJECTED THE $350 TRANSACTION, LIKE THEY DID PREVIOUSLY SO MANY TIMES, I WOULD HAVE HAD 1 NSF FEE. THEY CHANGE THEIR RULES SO THEY CAN FINANCIALLY BENEFIT.

Another thing, regarding running a business and paying my personal bills, using automatic monthly payments with your vendors and using the stupid online bill pay tools on your Wells Fargo online account, NEVER USE THIS FEATURE AND STAY AWAY FROM THESE OPTIONS. the banks want you to use online bill pay because if you dont have the money to cover it, they will hit you with all the NSF Fees.

Dont sign up with other companies and vendors and let them automatically charge your account their monthly fees. When times get difficult, and dont have money to cover it, sometimes the banks accept the transaction, most of the time they reject it, and you get hit with the NSF fees.

SO CALL ALL YOUR BILL COMPANIES AND VENDORS AND PAY A 1 TIME PAYMENT OVER THE PHONE WHEN YOU KNOW THE MONEY IS IN YOUR ACCOUNT.

1. Stay away from automatic bill payment options from utility companies.
2. never give your debit card or checking account to pay monthly recurring fees
3. Never use the Wells Fargo Automated Bill Pay tools.

The banks love these features because they can capitalize on these features when their thousands of banking customers dont have money to cover these fees, they get millions a year in NSF fees.

When all Wells Fargo banking customers login to their online banking, they get a message from the million dollar man himself, John Stumpf ! Wells Fargo not only ripps off the existing Wells Fargo clients, now they welcome all the Wachovia banking customers to Wells fargo as one big happy family now.

He is actually welcoming Wachovia customers to their ripoff scam fees they have been billing Wells fargo clients, and welcome them to the same scam.

Since when did i ever feel like a Wells fargo customer! Or a part of the family. I have a family, and we do not steal from each other when we are a sleep in our home!

I am a small business, I requested a loan, denied! I asked for help, denied! i cant get anything from Wells Fargo. They do not care. They just want you to open a checking account so they can profit from you with NSF fees! BUT WHEN THEY NEEDED A LOAN AND NEEDED THE GOVERNMENT TO SPEND $300 BILLION TO BAIL ALL THE BANKS OUT, THEY GOT THE LOAN. DID THEY SHARE THAT WITH THEIR BANK CUSTOMERS? NO. No one can even get approved for a $100 loan! They will tell you to not ask them for their money!

ONCE AGAIN.....

Okay once again banks HAVE NOT changed how they process transactions, the only thing that has changed is the technolgy. Banks have always(at least the last couple of decades) posted HIGHEST to LOWEST. This order does not matter if you don't overdraw your account.

You have 12 "small" transactions(Debit Card). Had you not written a check for more than you had in your account you would have been fine. Yes I am sure you were relying on the on-line banking instead of your own check register, or you were "hoping" to float the $350 check until you got more money in there. However, you can't do either of those things. Your register is the only thing that knows what you have actually spent, what shows up on-line is only what has been submited by the merchant. So until it is submited it won't show up. As for floating, with the electronic processing, the days of the "float" are gone. The second you write the check or swipe your card you should write it in your register and treat it as gone.

In the past a person would not write 12 small checks, they would take cash out of the bank and use that. So even if they did overdraw the chances are they only had 1 or 2 checks out. This is what you need to do. Take out $40-$80-$100 and go back to paying these small purchases with cash.
