I started working with John Weick in Late April of 2008. What a mistake this was. I thought about working with him after working a security position in a retail store. The project John setup was an Adult Website (Webcams). I purchased traffic for this man's website for the first 7 months (out of my own pocket). John Weick elaborates the fact that he likes to take care of employees and that he will give you raises with the performance of work you put into his company. What an outright Lie! After the first six months of doing the Adult Website work, He then transitioned me to do work for BOTH his Adult Website and his Security company (West Coast Security Contractors Formally Known as Watson). Which I had no problem doing. While doing security work for his company, I had to use an alias (because of the type business he was doing). His former employee did not send out bills to many customers and they all (customers) thought this subject (the owner of the company) had his company closed down. Then, my work came into play, to try and let these alarm customers know that the company was operating under a different name and they were past due! (For the 5- 6 months that they did NOT receive bills due to John's former Accounting/Payroll Representative.) - It is only fair to a consumer to recieve a statement before sending in a bill. The words this man used to describe his customers were unheard of (you shouldn't hate your customers if you DONT SEND THEM A BILL- IF THEY GET A BILL, YOU (THE OWNER) GET A CHECK! - He claimed he would take everyone of his customers who did not pay to court (because they did not receive a bill?). He had me continusly call these businesses and told me to threaten to take them to small claims (which I did). One client who I contacted (when starting to call the alarm clients) actually knew this man and his family (for 20+ years) actually told me his business was unorganized, mismanaged, and had the wrong information in their files. While calling these alarm clients, their contract(s) were NEVER infront of me, nor were the contracts in CA (3 year contract for alarms for residential locations and business locations). So I, as a professional employee, did not have the resources to verify if a clients account was even valid (because John kept all the contracts in ID and not CA). So I went on John's word on how much these people owed Johns company (which is West Coast Security Contractors). I was trying to be ethical and attempted calling a business to let them know that their contract was about to expire (once I eventually DID have the contracts in front of me) and John said, Don't call them, on the back of the contract it says if we don't receive a letter in writing that they would like to cancel their account, it would automatically RENEW their contract (for another 3 years). At that point, I knew that most clients were being honest when they told me they canceled their account by calling this man. He just did not let them know to send a letter in writing. I felt really bad for most of these clients (some were out of work, or sick), because I myself, know how the economic situation is (coming from the middle class). However, I was just doing my job and I apologize to anyone I may have bothered while making phone Calls for West Coast Security Contractors (formelly Watson and Norde Security) -

Also, One day I accepted some field work which was going out with John, and interviewing girls for his Adult Webcam website. On the way Over there He Flashed his middle finger to another Driver while driving (which made be VERY uncomfortable EVEN sitting next to this subject). The funny part about this is this man used to be with the Police Department (a position I wish to one day hold). Usually, if you flash someone the middle finger in my town, the police will be knocking at your door. From what this man knows (about laws) - it is legal (which I doubt). While at this man's office last week, there was another worker who was doing my job and was a family friend of his. He kept constantly picking at me more than usual. Then, On my way out of his cramped 2 person office that day, he said I have to talk to you outside. I said fine. Let's Talk. We go Outside and this man starts getting in my face (about an inch close from my face) and is telling me to "Shut the F*** up" 4 TIMES OUTSIDE IN FRONT OF OTHER BUSINESSES WHO DID SEE THIS HAPPEN, THEY DID NOT HEAR IT BUT THEY DID SEE). He said 'Shut the F*** up and I said (ok go ahead). As I was about to listen to him, he said 'SHut the F**k up again (and at that point, I was not going to let that happen. I put my shield up) - I felt very uncomfortable and let this man know I made him more than $10,000 (in a 3 month time frame) in telling people they were past due (doing collection calls) for a very low wage (because I thought he was friendly, and a professional businessman). I couldn't believe he was complaining about my work! His previous employee did not even send out the bills and from what I know He kept paying her for 2+ years (much more than I was being paid). Some people will never be satisfied I guess. I cannot help it. I low balled my pay for this man (believing he would give me a raise based on my performance because he seemed like an honest businessman). Which is a mistake I will never make again. Then, I tried to receive my last paycheck of $425.00 (which $25.00 was owed from my last paycheck before the dispute began). John Deposited $300.00 into my bank account. I told John I was in the process of interviewing for other jobs and needed the remaining money owed for gas, food, etc). He said to meet at his office to get together. I dropped off his company phone expecting to receive my Last Paycheck and leave. However, He said Go ahead and sue me. Right before that, He want me to give him all the "paperwork" back. Which I discarded and shredded out of my office, However, It was not paper work he did not have access to. I also designed a myspace account (for his business) and he wanted to keep this (he felt like he paid for this)- However, I created at my own will on my own time (Not When he was paying me). I however was updating it and sending messages WHILE on the clock working for his company. Also, he wanted access to a Yahoo (email) account I made for the company in my spare time (while I was working with his dishonest, unorganized, unethical business). I deleted this account because of how angry this subject made me when he used Vulgar language towards me. I called the Police and they said this was a Civil matter and I would have to take this to civil court (there was nothing they can do). They did however let him know that he cannot use bad language and get into an employees face (this is what they told me). Any Advice From Any Professionals Out there?

I have to tell you JDR you were right the first time about John and his security compay. Not only does John rip off his clients he also rips off his employee's. I worked for his company in Idaho and how they did payroll and bill people was truely sad. He didn't have enough money to pay his bills and for awhile he couldn't afford to have workmans comp and when someone got injured in California the person's job was on the line if they tried to file a claim. There is so much more that I have on him there isn't enough time in the day to put it all down.

John Weick and Myself have sat down and resolved this problem. *Disregard this Article.* I was very angered when I typed up this report (due to a family member of mine being severely ill). I did receive my last paycheck from John Weick recently. I have also given John the Myspace Page/Email which I created, and returned all documents related to West Coast Security Contractors/AdultsPlayLive.com. John Does not owe me anything and there is currently NO dispute between myself and John Weick. I should have been more considerate before posting my Ripoffreport (However, I did not know that I could not remove or modify the original post). John has a vast amount of knowledge in the security field, and in general. Sometimes people will be "out of it" on some days (and I must accept the fact that nobody is perfect). My Ripoffreport focused on the Negative side while I worked with John. However, I could type up Pages and Pages on the positive side working with John. John is a great reference, and very knowledgeable (through wisdom and experience) and has helped my family out a lot (through this tough time with a recession, and a family member of mine being ill). Unfortunately, I did not know I could not remove my RipOffReport (which is very disappointing since I, luckily, resolved this issue with my former employer). It would be nice to know Members could remove their posts (If they can resolve their problem/issue - especially if they are fortunate enough to have the problem resolved). Since I can only Add/Update to this Report at this time (and cannot remove it), I would like to say John is a Professional Businessman, and one of the most HONEST businessmen I know (and believe me, I have met/worked a lot of other businessmen). I am Thankful for the opportunity John gave me (which helped my family each day I did work with John). John Weick has recently offered me a Part-Time position with his company. I am glad that John Weick and myself have resolved this problem. Once again folks, disregard this report and all comments from my original post. Problem Solved!
