Still waiting for refund of money sent in to Stratis Insurance Company.

Company and person inwhich i applied for a unsecured loan has promised me for the past 2 weeks i would be receiving a refund on money i sent to them for a personal loan.

I have been dealing with these people for over 2 months trying to either get the loan i applied for (Which i never received) or get a refund of $2,946.00 of which I sent in to receive my loan.

Day after day i call and get excuse after excuse of why i havnt received a refund yet.And everytime i call i get a differant reason of why i havnt received my money.A few times i have been told my refund has been sent out and i should be receiving it within a few days.This is told to me to give them more time to figure out another lame excuse for when the next time i call.

I must say to anyone that has applied for a loan with this company and persons to please heed "WARNING".
You will never,ever receive any money for a loan or receive a refund of money that you sent in to get said loan.It is a huge "SCAM".

Here is my question folks..Why are these people still in bussiness ?

Arent there any laws in Jamaica against FRaud and Scams ?
Sure doesnt seem to be any to me.
