I published a book through Xlibris and somehow, Jonathan Spencer got my phone number and worked HARD to convince me that he had read my book and wanted to help me by getting the book re-published, cheaper, with this major Amazon connection. The website www.mybookpublicist.com looked legit but I didn't think to google his name. I should have! He sent me a paypal invoice for $349 and after paying the initial "start-up cost" of $349, I never got a confirmation or any communication from him. 11 days, no answer to emails or phone calls after hounding me for weeks. Don't be fooled. ALWAYS do your due diligence when purchasing services online. The reason why he's sending paypal invoices is because a large percentage of people would pay this invoice with a balance directly from their paypal account or their bank account, and then you can't get a refund. THANKFULLY I paid the invoice through my credit card, credit card claim pending...
