Josef Mravik Send sick dog. Refuses to pay for vet bills. Nitra Internet

Josef Mravik, of Eurosport K9 - Slovakia sold me a dog with an ruptured anal sack abscess and stage 3 heartworms.

I have asked him repeatedly to pay for medical expenses and he refuses.

I was given the option to return the dog, he would pay to ship her back, but I would have to pay the shipping on the second dog. Shipping her back and getting a full refund, including shipping,  was out of the question.

Shipping is $1200 each way, so basically, I would end up paying $2400 to ship a dog that may or may not have been in any better condition.

My costs associated with this dog's medical condition has climbed to over $1000. I offered to call it even IF he would pay the what a local vet in Slovakia would have charged to treat these problems. It would have come out to about half the cost of shipping her back. But he even declined to do this. He vehemently states "there are no heartworms in Slovakia, you are trying to rip me off."

Dogs cannot be shipped that are contagious. The first heartworm test included her registered name and microchip number. Companies that test for heartworms are required to submit positive results. My vet would not approve a health certificate. If I'd gone to another vet, and been caught (when getting the international health certificate), I would have gotten into huge legal trouble.

I warn everyone - do not purchase any dog from Josef Mravik - he is a cheat.
