If you have not received a refund from these guys its because they closed one company and opened a new one. They are making money and have money to refund, but you have to complain to state officials and federal officers. Here is how I got my refund.

This marketing Dirt Guy is obviously out for revenge. I find it interesting that marketing dirt can be friends with Nic Johnson on Facebook and post lies and slander on rip off report? WOW WHAT A GOOD FRIEND? He obviously doesn't know that Josh and Nic split, the party photos on the page, was an industry party, because i was there. Its been nearly 6 months since they worked together and still some d****e continues to post nonsense? YOU WATCH MARKETING DIRT OR SOME OTHER HATER WILL MAKE A NEW POST RIGHT AFTER THIS, WITH NO FACTS, JUST SLANDER OPINION?

Since my post a few days ago, the facebook album for Josh Lindsay and Nicholas Johnson's company Christmas party has been removed.  The link has also been updated at 6figuremedia.com and the "legal" contact is now someone named Zack, not Josh. 

By the way, the business address Mr. Lindsay provided is not legitimate.  The address 4760 S Highland Drive #222 is a UPS store where individuals can rent mail boxes. 

I am sorry for your loss, but know that it will be remedied. I know they handed over all their assets/cash to the state of utah. If i were you i would ask why you didn't get a refund and others did? 

I see you didn't list your name, why not?  If you took the time to read all the complaints against them you would know that they didnot refund money to people they scammed. I tried less then 2 months after being scammed by them. Your statements are 180 degrees out of sync with everyone elses expierences.  If as you attempt to emply, they were a honest and consumer responsible company they would still be in business and would not have been closed down by the Utah Consumer Agency! They were shut down and fined, and you have the nerve to try and tell us they were a good company to do business with?  They refused to discuss a refund with me every time I contacted Josh or any of his minion. You sound like Josh himself with your unbelievable statements, except your a better writer!  I met a person who worked in the same buillding as SFC and was told how they operated and what was heard going on in the call center.  How your buddies laughted and belittled the customers who fell for the scam and signed up.  Yes, they were a good company all right, if you worked there and took home some of the money scammed from people who couldn't affort it!  So don't try to BS us, we are not in the mood to hear it.  If your so proud, give us your name and phone number or are you a fake?

I used to work at Six Figure before it closed its doors. The majority of the people writing on this forum know nothing about the company or the people involved. It was a great place to work, employees were treated with respect, alot of time was spent by the owners teaching self worth and development. I saw alot of employees become better people just by working their, including myself.

Here is some information you may find useful about Josh Lindsay and his business practices.

1. One of Josh Lindsay's business partners at Six Figure Consulting was Nicholas Johnson.  This information can be confirmed by reading (poorly written) articles that Josh posted on multiple websites (you can confirm my Google-ing both names together). 

2. Nicholas Johnson is the principal of Six Figure Media, which is registered in Nevada.  You can view information about Six Figure Media through The Better Business Bureau (bbb.org).  Not surprisingly, the company has an F rating.

3. Nicholas Johnson's company, Six Figure Media, has a website at 6figuremedia.com.  If you go to the "contact us" page and scroll over the link that says "LEGAL" you will see that the email is for josh@6figuremedia.com.  I am willing to bet this is Josh Lindsay's email account.

4. Although Six Figure Consulting is out of business, Josh Lindsay and Nicholas Johnson held a company Christmas party together in December 2009 (according to Nicholas Johnson's public Facebook page).

My conclusion is that Josh Lindsay continues to do business with Nicholas Johnson under the new entity Six Figure Media.  Since having his name attached to anything will probably thwart customers, the new company has been organized so his involvement is not obvious.

There are a few additional comments I'd like to make.  It is my opinion that Josh Lindsay is an illegitimate businessman.  His companies appear to have no real business model except collect as many credit card numbers as possible and process transactions.  If you read anything he has written about his business, there is nothing clear about what services are actually performed.  Everything is vague and embellished.  He is not even a good writer which makes it somewhat comical.  I don't expect him to be a good writer since he didn't go to college, but he doesn't even have the common sense to hire a writer.

I know of Josh Lindsay through a close friend who was scammed.  What goes around comes around, and Josh Lindsay's scams will eventually end in hardship for him.  I can only imagine he tosses and turns at night wondering when his lies will catch up.  Josh Lindsay probably believes he is smarter than his customers and he will outwit them, but there are many intelligent people working right now to stop him.  I am truly sorry for everyone who has been scammed.  Josh Lindsay should be ashamed.

I will answer your concerns......
We put those clauses in the contract to protect ourselves from clients performing chargebacks 6-12 months after they have purchased. It also allows us to go after the client in court if they used the materials and attempted to claim fraud on their credit card company. "Like you chargeback you claimed fraud" So the credit cards look at you claim "Fraud" and we submit your usage of the product. Then they decide an outcome . If you win you get you r money back, if we win we can decide to sue you and press charges fro credit card fraud.
That is why this is n the contract?

Ronald you contacted your state agencies and i have forwarded them you usage of the program and contracts you signed. These state agencies usually take 6-12 months to settle. I wish you would have been more reasonable and tried to settle this with us, based on 6 months worth of product use? But asking for a full refund 6 months later is hardly fair?

Lets wait and see what happens the 6-12 months, hopefully they will move faster in your case and it can be settled fr you?

You state in your 7/29 post above "THIRD WE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THRIVE LEARNING INSTITUTE." WHAT????? How did I end up with them if you don't do business with them? I guess you really, really, owe me a refund for being registered with the wrong company! Whats the truth, we all are waiting?

Suggest you look up the definition! It's interesting how you attempt to slander me. I have kept my comments on point about your business performance, or lack there of. Why do you see fit not to answer anyone's specific comments? Please show me another Company or Business that includes in it's contract the following:
"D. The effective date of this agreement shall be the date upon which User tenders consideration for the Trade Cancellation No Refund Policy applies."

"D. If purchasing by credit card or charge card, that the client permanently and Irrevocably waives any and all right to cause a "charge back" that client agrees to pay the minimum amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000) to Six Figure Consulting as damages."

I as well as others find the above very interesting as possible issues at law. I suggest you stick to the issue and statements made in a factual discussion of yours and other comments and re frame from the personal attacks you say you dislike so. Each case is reviewed individually based on the usage of the products and clients are refunded accordingly.
My job is take care of each customer one by one, but again dont attack my character, my family, or my faith. Every clients success is different so each success or failure is handled differently. My advice... stay clear away from them, consult an attorney if they have scammed you, and spread the word that they should not be trusted as per the Better Business Bureau.

Mr. Josh Lidsay, your comments about you and your family are impressive! However, your companies actual business practices tend to cast doubt on them. Your salesmen make claims and promises to sell the program that are not factual. My wife and I were on the phone and both heard very clearly,what was promised by Mr. Johnson if we signed up. First we were never told we were signing up for Thrive Learning. We were told and my written agreement states " The Six-Figure Mentoring Group". Mr. Johnson stated "You will have an online business up and running with-in 30 days". We would see income in the range of "$500 to $5000 with this business. Everything required to accomplish this was included in your program. Both statments proved false! We put in untold hours watching Thrives video's and watching webinars. After 90 days we still did not have a business operation. Plus we were being asked to buy additional programs or services, what happened to the all inclusive package? One of the most important parts of any business, is the protection of assets, so forming a Corp. or LLC should be a part of the package, it's not. I was told you don't do that and I was referred to a lawyer in NY to do this for $900 and a monthly fee. I did it myself without any help from your Mentoring group, for $255. Your salesmen are slick talkers and make promises they should know will not be kept. If as you state, your running a "honest and successful business" then be an honest business man and and refund peoples money when your company doesn't deleiver on promises made. Your company has $12,500 of our money and we expect you to refund it for non performance of your sales pitch. I work in the same building as this "company". They tell people that they are calling from Google. The guys that work there wear "Thrive Learning Institute" hats. You would not believe what they tell people on the phone. They tell them that they will be making $7k per month and they tell people that they can give them a written guarantee of this. I have heard them ask people how much money they have in their 401k's, if they are willing to open up another credit card so that they can use "OPM" *other people's money* to invest.
It honestly makes me sick to think of people that are getting involved with this company.
They are associated with Google Treasure Chest. I believe that Google Treasure Chest gives the contact information to Six Figure and they call the people that fell for the Google Treasure Chest Scam.
These kids call themselves "Google Consultants".

Josh Lindsay has been involved in other scams like this. They train their sales people to use high pressure tactics to include 3 way calls with credit card companies.

I used to wonder how people could get sucked in to scams like this. After hearing the things they say on the phone it is no wonder people fall for it. They are slick and with a "guarantee" how could you go wrong? Don't give up if they have taken your money! Call the Utah BBB and get them shut down; they are despicable.

I don't know if you didn't look hard enough or if you are just lying about visiting the BBB website, because when I went to the BBB website after receiving two phone calls from this Josh Lindsay guy and reading this blog I found the exact same report that Ryan found; all he did was copy and paste the Government Action section of the BBB report for Six Figure Consulting. I cannot say that Mr. Lindsay is a scammer because I have not spoken with him directly or visited his website, but I do trust the BBB report. I also have to include that in the BBB report there were nine complaints filed against this company through the BBB and all nine complaints were resolved; I'm not sure if the above mentioned violations are associated with any of the complaints that were resolved through the BBB. (Personally, knowing that governmental action had to be taken against this company due to them withholding information, making false statements, fraud, and whatever other deceitful action that were taken by this company is enough for me to put them on my "Rejected List"; whether everything was resolved or not!!!!

Was it the BBB or the Utah Div of Consumer Protection....? You mention both in your comment above. I went to the BBB's website and could find nothing on Six Figure Consulting. I went to the UT Div of Consumer Protection and could find nothing on Six Figure Consulting.....? Where, exactly, are you getting your information?

On March 24, 2009 the Utah Division of Consumer Protection issued an Administrative Citation against Six Figure Consulting Corp and Josh Lindsay ("Respondents"). Through an investigation it was found that: a) the Respondents failed to orally advise a consumer of a three-day right to cancel a transaction as required by the Telephone Fraud Prevention Act for the State of Utah; b) the Respondents failed to refund a consumer within thirty (30) days of a valid cancellation under the Telephone Fraud Prevention Act for the State of Utah; c) the Respondents made or caused to be made an untrue material statement and/or failed to disclose a material fact in connection with a telephone solicitation; d) the Respondents made an untrue material statement in the Contract with regards to the representation that a consumer would receive legal counsel as part of their transaction; and e) the Respondents made or caused to be made an untrue material statement in the Contract with regards to the effective date of the transaction. The actions stated were charged as a total of six (6) counts of violation with a potential maximum fine of $15,000.

There is yet another problem with your response. Let me show you

Yes gmail is owned by google. But you make a very large assumption that the person was using gmail. When you login, yes, your ip address is in fact logged. Yes you can get access to these logs with a court order. However there are several problems with doing this:

1.) What was posted here was not even CLOSE to enough to allow you a court order to get anything.

2.)Yes a time and date stamp does reduce the number of emails you would need to go through to somewhere in the hundreds of thousands, if not millions. Then apply the filter of coming from ripoffreport and I bet you are still in the tens of thousands. Then you would have to dig through each account to find emails relating to this topic specifically. Waaaay too much time, and no way you would get a warrant or subpoena that broad.

3.) Let's say that you did in fact get a court order to get those logs. You really just spent several thousand dollars in attorney fees(to petition for the right to get the logs, and then again to get the name of the company using the IP that posted from them), and tech fees (to dig through the logs) so that you could point a finger? Either your lying, or not a very savvy businessman.

Google would have NO record of who filed the report, as the report was not filed with google. It was filed to ripoffreport.

It has been exactly 1 week to the day since we signed up with Six Figure Learning and today we can actually say that we have a website up and running AND made our first sale! Following the plan laid out by Six Figure, my husband, Dave, and I found a great niche and proceeded to find a dropship supplier - actually, we have three different suppliers who are REAL dropshippers, not those suppliers listed in the various ebooks promoted online who actually charge significantly more than you can buy the items for on eBay!
With the help of Team 2 in finding a niche and getting started, along with the technical support team at Lightwave, we have worked back and forth between the two of you to create our fully functional website,www.theneed4speed.com. With no previous experience creating websites, we got the site up and running in only one week and have spent the ensuing time fine-tuning it and preparing for search engine submissions, and have an arsenal of new products to list in the coming weeks. As I recently received news of your complaint via rip-off report I immediately began doing research into your claim. It turns out that we have never enrolled anyone in the state of Arizona making your claim 100% FALSE.
This caused even more concern as our clients satisfaction and success are number 1. I contacted my attorney and we issued a subpoena to google to retrieve the IP address of where the complaint was filed. It turns out the complaint was filed in Salt Lake City Utah by one of our competitors. We have already issued a motion to press charges with a strong defamation of character case.
